Good sport man, refreshing to see. So many people (including myself) would not have handled that damaged card well but like you said, mistakes happen. Would be nice to see PSA compensate you for it in some way or make an effort to make things right though.
Lots of great 10s in this submission! Also some good 9s! So a damaged card they don’t go by what you declared for the value? They go by comps? Do they refund you the amount individually or take it off the grading cost? Thanks for sharing as always!
Man Im sorry they smoked one of your bigger cards, the worst part is they do this to so many cards and just send them back like it was already like that when submitted! The only reason they didnt do this to you is bc you have a channel and they know you have video of that card being perfect. How do I know this, well outta of the times Iv seen this happen the only time the reach out is if the address links to a big social account or channel, the reason I know I had to start videoing my submissions going into the card savers showing front and back under light, the boxing process and taping the label on, but my two friends who have a channel get emails all the time, hey sorry we damaged your card but here is 70% of the value and you can have your smoked card back. I love PSA but damn they crooked now. Thats why all my subs are recorded now. They don't like it when they crease on of my cards in half and send me a 1-4 grade and I email them with video proof they done it lol
Love you called Johnson the bird killer. Guy was great, but that's the 1st thing I think of when I hear his name. That Jacob's downtown is a gorgeous card.
Nice video with bangers of PSA10's ....how do they compensate you for the damaged card... Credit on account for full value of PSA 10? or just a % of value?
Your channel is the only channel I watch for product reviews and cards in general. I would love for you to start reviewing/collecting UFC cards. I have watched other channels but they just AINT YOU. Please show some UFC card love for the 1 TIME! Great submission and keep bringing us the heat!
PSA does what between $1 million and $5 million per month in grading revenue? And they couldn't have given you the full value of a PSA 10 at $200? That just goes to show how little they care about their customers. A very greedy and unappreciative company. They're turning into panini 😳😳😳 no company could ever be as bad as Panini lol
Love the 1st reveal of your PSA Submissions. You have pulled numerous gorgeous cards throughout and over the years! That Walker Jenkins is definitely a BIG ASS card. Did u ever send in the Gold Auto Victor W. you pulled out of the topps chrome basketball hobby box?!? Thought it might be in this submission
Love to see you with all these amazing cards I don’t have that much cards I wish I could have more boxes of cards but I’m not that rich but good luck on your next rip
How's your day sky. I really want to start a youtube channel soon so I am gonna save up for a laptop that's $526 and I am gonna have to get the mouse an the micraphone. So I hopefully can get the supplies I need to start my youtube channel. I will be doing reaction videos, challenges, pranks, and might try to live stream. Plus I will make a sports card channel if that goes good so I can have fun opening packs along with you. Thanks sky for the love and appreciation. From Hunter
I just did my first psa submission I did the 45 day turnaround bc I’m broke 😂 it says estimated arrival is December 20th which is is like 90 days is that normal for psa?
Great reveal my man! Getting cards back from PSA is like repulling them all over again. Like the MLB cards too! Goodluck to the Tigers💪Pete Alonso ripped my heart out of my chest in the top of the ninth last week😭
It seems like larger orders have been taking forever. I had a 121 card order take 2.5 months. I had 3 smaller orders (20 to 25 cards) leapfrog it in the system. Good and fair reveal. The 9s look like 9s and those gems looked really nice.
Thick cards are prone to get impressions, dimples, and knicks right out of the factory. You need to go over them with a magnifying glass before you send those in. I grade RPAs and that's what I do.
Those are some nice lookin cards, especially those old school baseball cards I don’t recall of you ripping baseball cards on here or did you buy them separately on eBay? But congratulations on the tens and nines.. not too shabby on the eights either! Thanks for sharing!
I just don't understand how that damage happens. I'd understand if a corner got dinged, but how does the card get creased without someone being pretty negligent... you can't charge as much as they do for a subjective service, then just say oooops...😂😂😂 congrats on the 10s, though!🎉
PSA is taking longer on the bulk stuff ive seen recently. Im thinking its because of all the conventions happening recently and they accepted a lot of on site submissions as well as their september and october specials. sucks waiting this long but i guess it is what it is.
I grade fairly often (just started over the past couple years, though)...never had a card damaged and never read the fine print with PSA. When that happens do they just say "Oops, sorry!" and either slab it damaged or send it back? Do they not offer any kind of discount or "store-credit"? If so, that's rough. But, great PSA results video as always!
I've had one card damaged in the 4 years I've been grading with them. In my case, they must have damaged it in the slabbing process. The card was graded a 9 originally so they credited me the value of the 9 and you can choose if you want the card slabbed at the grade it is after the damage or returned to you raw. Mine only dropped it to an 8 so I took the card in that grade. It's hard to say where they get the value of the card from but I was ok with the number they refunded me.
So PSA can damage your card and then just tell you to screw yourself? Bro, never send anything to that company again! They should've cut you a check for the current value of the card and returned the damaged card to you.
The cards worth $150-200 as a PSA 10, they declared it $125 and took that amount off my total grading fee. I was going to argue with them the card was worth more but they already had taken way too long on getting my submission back I didn't want to delay the process any longer
I’m shocked that’s all they did for you. It’s more than just what they did, their literal only job is to take cards, keep them safe and grade them. Not being able to maintain safety of the cards sent to them is a massive reputation issue and I would have fought that tooth and nail.
@skybcards surprised they let you know. I've had some returned with cards they obviously damaged and they literally just sent them graded low as hell due to the flaws lol. I got a PSA 5 on a card they did so bad. I scrutinize my cards thoroughly before sending. NOT A CHANCE I sent one so messed up it gets a 5
@@skybcardsMy biggest thing is PSA does anywhere from $1 million a month to $5 million a month in grading revenue. They could have given you $200 but that just shows how cheap they are and how unappreciative they are towards their customers. I still grade with PSA because of the resale value but still...
Nice submission dude love the Strouds, the pukas , Randy Johnson hit was fire, the Jeff Gordon was sweet as well I'm an Earnhardt fan but that's a very nice card and the Elly's were all Sweet and I agree with you on the home field advantage cards and the all etch they definitely don't get enough love nice video awesome cards appreciate the share definitely makes me want to rip , buy , and chase more.
@@skybcards I have over 500 of pretty much every driver even some on card autos that I need to do something with sets and everything but there Older from 2007 and back but I really liked that jr. You had graded awhile back
They start upcharging cards for not being in "proper" card savers and other miscellaneous charges, and in return, they hustle you by adding their own price on your item. You would have received more than $120 if you fought it. However, I overstand the PSA grading process, and you did not want a delay. Enjoy the rest of your day and stay safe.
PSA is definitely getting harder to want to grade with moving forward. I've never sent a submission out with BGS but I'm considering it more and more. I appreciate that though man I hope you have a great day to!

I have one of the rounding the bases relic out of series 2, the cards are FIRE but they are really beat up. I had 2 cards in the pack it was in, that and 1 other so there was zero protection
Awesome reveal! You did pretty good! PSA is a love hate relationship. I recently got a Psa 6 that absolutely looked like a 10, first time ill be cracking a slab. PSA should pay you the market value of the card they damaged...
Honestly, PSA should have paid you the current PSA 10 secondary market value for that card, period! At worse, they should have offered you the current secondary market value in grading fees credit. Personally, I have never had a card graded, as i buy all my graded PSA and SGC cards, but incidents like this, gives me pause and makes me NOT want to send my high-valued cards, you know cards selling "RAW" for $2,900, to PSA, as I would be ticked off to get an email with no recourse! If PSA has this is their SOP, where they can accidentally or intentionally damage a card without any recourse to the submitter, then i may just take the chance and sell my high-valued cards raw on eBay, and chance a scammer trying to say the card is "Not as described."
@@skybcardsand I heard they might be raising prices and if you don’t get a 10, the value drops to where the raw might have gotten the same price as a 8 or 9 grade
Hi Sky, Thanks for your review of your PSA grading. This is a wonderful group of cards! Hope that you have a fantastic day. I’m hospital bound today and that will take a lot of time. Not to worry my friend. Please give your pups a hug 🤗 for me! Take care of yourself. Much love brotha, Peter
Yo yoooo dang bro that's terrible to hear... I'm hoping it's just for a regular checkup and nothing serious🤞but if you say not to worry then I trust you! I'll definitely give the pups a bunch of love today to try and keep me warm this morning! You take care of yourself and keep me updated🤞 much love my brother
