I know right? I thought so too. The box of Series 3, really turned out a wealth of good cards. Probably 6 10’s, and 35-40 9’s, and countless 8’s. Pretty pleased to say the least. Thanks Keith

Welcome back to the 'good cards'😆... Those hard bumps like the one in that 2nd series cards are a bummer(cheap Topps cardboard stock -little chunk of pulp) ... this vid is a good illustration of how much tougher the grades on series 2 are compared to series 3(the easiest) or any of the other series... a few of thosse 9s at the end were head-scratchers but congrats!
I agree about the head scratchers. So interesting. As long as they make me scratch my head in both ways equally. I’ll take some surprisingly bad ones, as long as they give me some good surprises too! …and yes, I still favor the classic cards. Even though it’s just Series 5, I’m still looking forward to cracking those open here soon. Thanks Ken!
Nice overall return. Congrats on all the PSA 9’s. At 34:24, visible scratches like that usually renders a card down to a PSA 5 or lower. It is ridiculous and baffling that the grader decided to say this card is Mint. Makes us question the quality control in their vintage department or maybe the grader caused those visible scratches and decided to give it a PSA 9 out of guilt. Never seen anything like this. And just a note on the New Cantina Series 5 sticker on the Series 4 green wax box. The reason they used the Series 4 green wax boxes (with yellow New Cantina series stickers slapped on them) is because nothing went to waste at the Topps headquarters in Duryea. They had leftover overstock of Series 4 empty boxes that were never used so when they moved on to Series 5, they used up all these extra Series 4 boxes before packing the Series 5 packs into the Orange Series 5 boxes. There are also some Series 2 wax boxes that have a “New Series 3 white sticker” on the box which contains 36 Series 3 pink packs. Again, Topps didn’t let anything go to waste.

Love these videos. By far the best star wars pack opener/ grading reveal on YT. As a middle aged British man this takes me back to my childhood. Just started to get back into collecting SW cards, not to your level but picking them up here and there. Keep the vids coming. BTW love the graded card wall

Nice to see some more stuff come in. Seems like you had a fair grader overall! I agree with your comments for the yellow "Destroying a World" laser blast card....might not be OSHA approved to stand 3 feet away from a laser that can DESTROY A ENTIRE PLANET!!! 😵 I guess there's probably a lot of down time between destroying planets, so maybe not a bad gig? It was interesting to see the update on the PSA registry after logging in so many new cards...kinda thought your rank might bump up a few more spots but it gets tough at the top of that list. Most of those highest ranked sets have tons of super old PSA labels and cards are probably overgraded. Probably be impossible for anyone to climb to the top of that list these days. Lookin' forward to the next rip!!!
Yes sir Ryan! Pretty doggon’ pleased with the results. To me, it seems to hit a day or two later when I think back on it. This one gives me a sense peace when I reflect back on it☺️. Think of all the training that they must go through… and to only have a few opportunities to utilize their skills. I’m sure those funky underbite-type helmets they wear are specifically designed to protect them from any mishaps. I’m trying to get some time put aside, to get into the Series 5 box here soon. Yikes. Those last 3 reds have shay centering, some soft corners and print blobs galore. 2 9's and 1 8 is crazy. It's like someone else graded the last 3 cards, although the cards are not in the same order as u submitted them in I assume. Lots of cool cards
Do you know anything about "chase" packs that existed in the vintage topps star wars wax boxes (or any other topps series from that time)? The reason I ask is, 10 or 15 years ago, I was breaking down some series 1 packs, and one pack I opened had only stickers in it - it had all 11 stickers, in order (and no cards). And the gum it had was different - longer and narrower. Have ever heard of this?
I’ve never heard of such a thing. I’m thinking that maybe @iamtheprotagonist might… if there is such a thing that is. Sounds awesome though! I’ve yet to get a quality sticker… seems like this might be the only way these days to get an untarnished sticker fresh from a pack. Thanks for watching!
Whenever I watch these videos I think of how badly I abused valuable cards I once had, be it baseball, football, basketball, or Star Wars. After one month in my possession, the cards would probably score a zero.
I feel ya… everybody probably has the same feeling. Except for me maybe… with these at least. I take care of them, but I’m spending a fortune, unlike what you did🤷🏻♂️😬
