If I’m already going somewhere for 900 and I see a 400 dollar load back to my city I’m taking it. I say that to say somebodies 400 dollar load is bad to you but it could be just what they need. You can gross $5,000 with Amazon but it’s all about the net actually. If you gross $5,000 and driving over 2,000 miles a week total to get it and only netting half of it then you playing yourself. If you got early access you can drive less than a thousand miles total and still net the same😏

Thank you! I appreciate you watching. I would say yes to your question. I was able to find work easy in that area when I was otr. I will say Amazon has a nice triangle situation in your area you can figure a strategy between Toledo, Columbus, and Indianapolis. But loads on the load board are good too! I love being in the mid west

Amazon will give loads to anyone without any experience or record, so you can't be competing with a 8 to 5 that just start in the business or someone with bad records with brokers that only do Amazon, if you keep taking cheap loads that is only a competition to see who's bankrupt first, most of the Amazon carriers have bad CSA scores

That’s a good point, I actually haven’t thought much about that aspect. But I do find it hard to believe that paying carriers what they deserve would change the customer experience. Right now, they are disrespectfully under paying the people doing the heavy lifting. I could be wrong but the numbers don’t make sense. When you pull amazons public pnl…. Basically they’re profitable billions per year. Obviously they can pay carriers, at least, fairly.

@@rayperry7326 sorry I misread your first comment. But I disagree when I first started I didn’t just accept anything because it was reasonable. I waited or found a load that fit my CPM. Anything else doesn’t make sense. Anyone who is doing that isn’t ready to be in logistics. Those are just my thoughts but I would also argue that’s why over 90% of new trucking companies are out of business within a year.

You just have to have the required insurance and the required equipment and you can transport for Amazon. Yes, you load and unload most of the loads but not all of them

Can’t answer that question because it’s different for everyone you. If you set your business up correctly and know your CPM, you should be taking home at least 60%.

You don’t need any experience to run Amazon relay, you just need to meet all of their qualifications. As far as the pay, it all depends on the area you are in. Some areas make bank even when it’s slow and some your scraping for pennies even when it’s busy

@@iamjeffjoseph Unlike load brokers of DAT, we bring our own load prices down. I saw a perfect example of that tonight. A load that consistantly appears on early access relay for the last week+ at $575. It use to go up to $670+ before prime week came. After prime week past someone kept booking it at $575 early access instantly without letting it go up. Guess what happens now? The same load is not appearing early access at $515. If you dont let the load prices go up it will cause amazon to set the prices lower on posting.

It’s hard to say for sure, but whatever you get has to be under 26 thousand pounds since you’re going to be noncdl. Most international 26-foot trucks are noncdl. Freightliner might be the best, and then Heno… you just have to Check to see what your state requires for non CDL.

Alexis, for Amazon runs you need one with liftgate. To drive with your regular license, you need a truck which is rated (GVWR) less than 26,000 Lbs. Did you find your truck yet?

EV would take too long to charge to be profitable,and,you would most likely be limited with how many miles you can travel and how much weight and elevation use you can get.. The first problem is the Weight of the battery itself.... Batteries tend to use their capacity really fast when they are pushed to their limit for long periods of time.. That's why they are basically used for short distances in cities with flat surfaces...

Thanks for putting out this video because these drivers are making it tough out here for a new authority. Prime week was the only time I could make some decent money with Amazon. I’m going to post my truck and rate and see how that works out. It don’t make very good business sense to deliver a load just to pay for fuel.

Try it out, post a truck is hit or miss so make sure you keep looking at the load board too. Just peep the timing

Look for loads @ 9:00-9:45, that’s when the “ 2nd driver “ loads pop up. When there’s more than 12 pallets for the route they break it up into 2, so the “1st driver “ can take 7-10 and they make another same route and you’ll take what he couldn’t fit. Last minute loads pay the highest.

Lol pay attention young bull, I said I accepted a load I didn't want and that my rate wasn't right. Not that it was cheap, I know my CPM and never accept below that amount. However, if I can exceed my cpm for a larger profit I’d be happier
