I came across this video today, as I was searching Psalm 119 out. I understand God's commandments for national interest, statutes for state interest, and precepts are our virtues. I thought David wrote this Psalm, but you have cleared this up for me and it all makes perfect sense, how God used Ezra the man who sought the truth and repentance for the nation. How amazing is our God, His love, His power and authority over all His creation!
This taught me so much but more than anything how not to serve other Gods. It also help me realize I’m not God but I am his sheep or child. The enlightenment has strengthen the faith I have for the lord and also help me to trust him in depth. I struggle with trust and I looked into zodiac signs and have abused it’s knowledge to point fingers all because I was afraid to take a step out on faith and trust the god and his words. Listening to this has given me great courage. Now that I know better I pray I’m capable of doing better. Because truthfully I’m still scared but I don’t want to be. Thank you, Sir!

I'm am not associated with DTBM or John Barnett. Going by what John Barnett said in his lesson, circumcision, as it was commanded by God to be done on the eighth day, would symbolize the new birth, the new life that was offered in the Abrahamic covenant And then in the New Testament, the New Life which we have in Christ. (Our hearts are circumcised.) As Hebrews, they were commanded to be circumcised, and I would agree that it set them apart (sanctification) from the Gentiles, but how much greater as demonstrated in Romans, the new beginning (new birth) or the start of a New life in Christ as Pastor Barnett says that the number 8 symbolizes? It was as though God was telling the Hebrews that for the first 7 days of your life, you are a Gentile, outside of my covenant, then with this one simple act, you will begin your new life as a true Hebrew. You are now to live fully and completely for Me in this New Life. Gal 2:20, and 2 Cor 5:17. I do like what you posted. As Christians, we are sanctified, set apart to glorify God in all that we do.
