I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. Today is December 21. For years, this day was celebrated as the Festival of St, Thomas, Apostle, even though the ELCA now recognizes it on July 3. Some churches and denominations may still recognize it on this day. Psalm 136:1-4, 23-26 is usually read or sung on this day. And here is hoping that everyone reading this has a Merry Christmas.
