I pray for you too that He will also strengthen your heart as you serve him... helping us studying and understanding His word so we know Him better, discovering v4 His beauty, his holiness, goodness, greatness, righteousness, loving kindness, grace, mercy and salvation.
Thank you Pastor, what a blessed teaching. So eye opening to me how you bring forward the interpretation of Psalms 27. Praying God will continue to give you revelation of His word so you can continue to.shate with others. Man of God you are mightily blessed by Our Father
I wonder why David had so many difficulties, and troubles, probably attacked by the enemy because thru his line Jesus, the Savior, was to be born, and the enemy tried to destroy him🧐
I learned even more than I knew about this beautiful faith filled scripture because of your commentary. Thank you so much. I am now looking more deeply at how to seek after him even deeper and in the how I wait on him

Let me share the dream I dreamed last January 10, 2018. In my dream, I saw in my spirit a vision of a written word and numerals that reads: "Psalm 27". This is one of the many short dreams I dreamed, but as with my other dreams, it fulfilled God's purpose and plan in giving this to me. The Light of the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation ( Ephesians 1:17 ): In this dream, The LORD emphasized to me the great importance of His Word in Psalm 27. He wants me to specifically consider His Word on this passage that I may receive the light, grace and blessing out of it. In fact, after a few months I did face a heavy trial wherein my whole family were affected. And this Word of the LORD provided me the strength and light I need to overcome. Though I failed sometime, but the LORD was always there to lift me up and keep me go on in my walk with Him in faith, holding on the sword of His Word in Psalm 27. I believe this is one of God's Word for His children at this present time and generation. He wants to emphasize to the Church the many great blessings, graces and lights that this Word may provide, for the good of our walk in faith with Him. Especially in this perilous times of the Last Days wherein plagues like pandemic and all other calamities, divers temptations, deceptions and chaos are coming to pass. Thank You so much Father for reminding us of Your Word and its importance in our lives as Your children. In Christ Jesus Name, our Lord and Savior, Amen. To God be the glory! God bless and graces to all.
I will keep vs 14 in my top inspiration and instruction list of verses thanks to your explanations...and I really did feel like David was speaking to me through your message. Well Done, I will be able to better share with my congregation. Pastor Mike
Speaking on behalf of the divisions bteaks in psalms 27 ( and others ) As a singer & songwriter shifts are nothing new in psalms "songs". These shifts to a songwriter and anyone familiar with poetry it's called nuances. It's the changing or the shifting in the mood or Focus. Usually people who are not familiar with a culture or a style or a form usually make great errors in observation. especially, when it comes to psalms 27 for example.. thinking that they were 3 songs stitched together. People should be very familar with nuances/shifts in music & lyrics even in Western music.
V4 response: ""Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will DWELL AMONG THEM." - Revelation 7:15 NKJV
There’s a verse somewhere I can’t find it that says something like ‘who can strive with God, it is better to strive with man’ or something like that.. perhaps that’s what pope was saying there, the more quotes I read of spurgeon however the more to me he seems a pompous ass
Luke 13:1-5 New Living Translation A Call to Repentance 13 About this time Jesus was informed that Pilate had murdered some people from Galilee as they were offering sacrifices at the Temple. 2 “Do you think those Galileans were worse sinners than all the other people from Galilee?” Jesus asked. “Is that why they suffered? 3 Not at all! And you will perish, too, unless you repent of your sins and turn to God. 4 And what about the eighteen people who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them? Were they the worst sinners in Jerusalem? 5 No, and I tell you again that unless you repent, you will perish, too.”
