PSALM 90 | Shane & Shane 

Since a small child, I longed to be loved. I was betrayed by my first husband, and my second was obsessed with his hobbies. I pined to be really really loved for myself. Then God showed me that he loved me and cared about every detail of my life. Now Jesus fills that void and I feel loved and whole. Thank you Jesus you satisfy me with your love.

I am a single 55 year old Saint without a husband, children or even a dog, but don’t feel lonely for a husband. I’ve accepted Jesus as my Husband. Yes I am tired of Christian music not singing to Jesus to much selfish singing about us.Worship should be all about Him. How wonderful HE is.

I never comment. But I am seeing some comments that are saying that this text might be selfish. That is not the case at all. The meaning of this song (and Psalm 90 - this is directly from God's Word) is a prayer for us to say "God you are enough!" Only HE can satisfy. If we come to that point we are able to truly worship HIM and HIM alone who is worthy of all worship. The process requires us to number our days and to look and see what is really important. Only Jesus matters. Only HE can satisfy.

I love how this psalm holds such deep meaning. Its not simply satisfy us, but, the core of the song cries out about how we tend to forget God, even all his goodness and love for us. How much we need our God even to remember His love and faithfulness toward us because we can be foolish and proud. So oh God we repent, of how before the sun comes up and the day even begins, how we have already wasted the day because of how we have already forgotten You and Your goodness and love towards us. So Lord, we dont even realise how dependent we are on you. Satisfy us with Your love, oh Lord.

They were the opening act for The David Crowder Band. Second time I saw them was at Northern University in Boston, Mass around April 2006. The third time I saw them was with my wife for life in a Messianic Church in Seekonk MA and Phil Wickham lead us in worship too. Shawn McDonald was scheduled to be here too but he made the right decision to be with his wife for life for the birth of their first child in May 2007!! WOW!!! Shane & Shane’s vocals age like fine wine it only gets better with age. Plus the passion in which he reads scripture is emotional, powerful & poignant. Gods presence always comes in strong with their music such unity and humility.

Yes, yes, yes, His name is Jesus! He is the majesty...This word was reveled to me in prayer a couple of days ago: "El que tiene a Jesus tiene la vida", "He who has Jesus has life". I did not know where in the Scripture it was, but that word healed and ministered to my soul of a terrible mourning pain I was suffering for 2 weeks because a friend was intubated in a hospital because of Corona Virus. Later a sister gave me 1John 5:12 "Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life" When I got up from praying the pain was gone, and peace, and joy was in my soul. I was so happy because I literally was feeling sick of so much crying and sadness.

I'm blessed and give thanks for all I've received and all I've lost, hard though it is. Lord, satisfy us with Your love.🌹
