During my darkest moments as a Christian, too weak even to read the wonderful Word of God - I must have listed to a rendition of this song 1000 times. Psalm 91 came to me after surviving cancer, and I was struggling so hard. Suddenly, feathers started showing up at my feet on especially bad days. I decided to look in my concordance for verses involving feathers, and it brought me to Psalm 91. I am leaning on this chapter more than ever right now.
