Hello, I thought I would comment and maybe try to help. I just thought that when I struggle with temptation, I use the words that Jesus said and that was: "Away from me Satan!" I know this seems simple, but if you mean it and put it together with a scripture that is Jehovah's word and that backs you up, it does help. I've only just learnt to do this and I thought I would share it to you so it may help you live the right way, Gods way and the way His son Jesus christ lived.

Dennis Rokser's teaching on Roman's 6-8 really helped me learn what it means to live a life of faith and rest in God's power rather than self effort as seen in Paul's discussion in Roman's seven. It's a day by day walk with Jesus moment by moment trusting Him.

You have authority to rebuke it. Christ is ready every day to take it from you but your free will choice seems to go back over and over and disobey our father. Let Jesus value be more than your addiction let his love be made manifest in your life and your desire to sin will fade. I’ve had every addiction you can think of and Concorde them all through Christ amen

Consider this verse that says the disciples doubted. Even though they witnessed all of the Lord's miracles, and saw him after his resurrection. This verse shows you that Satan’s spiritual wars against you will not stop easily. However, despite this, the apostles did not surrender to these doubts and continued their struggle with faith and spreading the word. The question is whether you will surrender to these ideas or will you continue your struggle. Pray regularly and have confidence. Read the Word and meditate on it every day and have confidence that it is the Word of God written by eyewitnesses to the life of Christ through holy inspiration. Do not be afraid, and have confidence in God, and He will grant you victory in all your spiritual wars
