(Disclaimer this is an affiliate link so I do get a commission) The Red Neon Blue Eye Rainbowfish or Pseudomugil Luminatus is a controversial little fish with some in the rainbow community declaring it is not really a rainbow fish but are still in some small way genetically related, but drama aside this is a cool little nano fish that I think everyone should try keeping at some point. These little fish are native to New Guinea and Indonesia and live in large schools in areas with dense vegetation so they are going to love any aquarium with lots of plants and or floaters. The males have a stunning neon red or red-orange color with areas of blue on their bodies and fins and when they become colored up for mating or displays of dominance they are one fo the most beautiful nano fish ive ever seen.
