Did I REALLY compare this game to Quake simply because it has bunnyhopping?
I refuse the answer that question.
When discussing the Princess at 9:42 I meant to say older instead of younger. Also there's a loud buzz at 11:45. I apologize for this but transferring this project to a new PC/version of Vegas in the middle of editing had made it pretty unstable and I just wanted to get it out before it corrupts or something.

i feel like the concept of Sybil traveling to other dreams and freeing them is reminiscent of sora traveling to other worlds and locking the keyholes. He also gets a disguise sometimes.

This game Is definitely more inspired by kloana than kingdom hearts but I also see your point.

Agreed, I think a sequel would be so cool- or at least a dlc adding more to the concept of her solving these kind of dreams. though i can understand that they probably want to make it one-and-done but yee. :)

Great video. I got to the part where you mentioned the top of the tower and the key hints and got instantly whisked back to my first playthrough. I got stuck for at least a few hours because my dumb ass couldn't find the last key. It was at the top of the tower and I just never turned my camera toward it.

REAL, did that in quake 2 once where I made it through 3 levels with the default pistol while somehow missing all like 5 shotgun spawns

i love this game and need to go and beat the trials that were added. i did boot it up recently to test a new controller i bought. If i can ultra side hop with it, its a good controller lol.

i remember i kept dreaming about sybil after i saw art of her and i told a friend about it, he got me the game and i had to play with zero knowledge, it quickly became my favorite platformer

I just beat this game today. It's very good. A solid 7/10, possibly 8. Only thing holding me back from a higher rating is those damn time trials lol. I know they're there to help you master the skills of the game, but I got too frustrated with them. Either way, loved the surealness of the game. Also, Sybil is top teir waifu material. I love all the art I've found of her

I have no interest in metrodvanias, I never played Mario 64, and I'm generally not good at this kind of games. Hell, first playthrouh took me 11 hours. But it was fun 11 hours, and I'm gonna play some more. If You managed to garner the interest of players outside of intended demographic, it means You're doing something bloody well.
