Here is his life in a nutshell: grew up in russia, was very good-looking, became noticed by a movie director as a teenager, didn't listen to grandma/mom for finishing school and dropped school, became an actor, became the main actor of a movie that already had a main character, main character got removed and vasily was chosen because of looks, jealous workers, angry fans, movie reviews dropped, got called for new roles, ignored them 🤦♂️(pride) , played in the sequel of the first movie, became sex-symbol in russia, due to angry fans sequel flopped, and flopped again in the next one, no more calls from directors, saga ended, lost finances, lost fame, lost girls, fell into drugs, fell into depression, then tried to take his life by jumping off a building, broke his legs, ruined his spine, now is on a wheelchair living with his grandma in russia forgotten . What a shame... He could've become an actor or something.

Vasiliy is actually quite smart ,and even was a philosopher. intelligence has no real correlation with mental illness and if anything higher IQ people and geniuses are likely to suffer from mental illnesses such as depression and anxiety from the social isolation. Though in Stepanov's case he had Schizophrenia which as far as I know also has no correlation.
