PSX Longplay #17: Hot Shots Golf / Everybody's Golf 

That menu music... man makes me want to cry.... such simpler times

I was always a Nintendo kid growing up, so going back and finding out that this was basically Camelot's prototype to Mario Golf 64 blew my mind. Everything about it resembles Mario Golf, from the overlay to the graphics to the camera angles to the sound effects. Really cool stuff.

Those bird sounds are engraved in my brain. Lol such nostalgia I need to pick this game up again

This game was a staple of my Early Childhood. This is giving me some serious nostalgia.

I was obsessed with this game! We got the demo disk on a Domino's pizza I believe 😂 I love the sounds, so relaxing.

When I was little and I played this game and saw the sun beams as you shot the ball, I remember being SO impressed thinking “wow… graphics can’t get any better than this” hahaha

that loop of the same bird chirp drives me mad.

The bird sounds carry over into the menus omg bro aaaahhh!!

I feel like Hot Shots Golf from 1997 is so charming in its own right.

This was originally developed by Camelot Software Plaining the company who developed the Mario Golf and Mario Tennis series. They first started as a Sega subsidiary before they became the name we all know as.

I think I remember playing this on a demo disc back in the day.

I remember playing the 9 hole demo on my PS1 back in the day. I got an Albatross on the second hole, but never a hole in one. Very relaxing game to play.

Those green/blue gradient rectangle windows were the default for the PS1 game engine I guess, so many games had those lol

I had this game back in the day. I was pretty good at the game, beat all my friends at it. Havent been into the series since. Now I try to catch up and play the Ps3 versions. Everybodys Golf 5 & 6. Amazing games.

I hated this game _(and maybe just a little nowadays)_ . the atmosphere was so vague it give me chills. I dunno, its something about those bird sounds playing repeatedly. Plus the campus is shown in the middle of nothing, like a dune. Anyways, childhood trauma lol
