This game was part of my childhood! Its def one of the best beat up games out there, it has a great gameplay, graphics, storyline, soundtrack and humor!
Jackie is such a legendary iconic hero so they even made a whole game dedicated to his personality. This is just insane to comprehend knowing that this is a real character.
@@chocolatewheelchair creative as this = an ok 3d beat'em up game with crash bandicot chase sequence. Ok dude, just admit that your creativity is very limited lmao
This game is one of the best games ever created. Even as a kid I could not believe how smooth the gameplay felt back then. I get a very similar feeling with THPS2. You are so tightly connected to the game world with super responsive user input and how many things in the game world react to your actions.
@@QFilmz so my mom got me ps1 when I was 5 this year in decembar I Will be 24. Legacy of kain soul rever was my favorite and crash and spyro nightmere creatures Tony hawk gex yugioh fobidden memorias tenchu 1,2 resident evil 123 xena do I need to continue for you to get that I had ps1 and grow up with ps1
I used to rent this game with my grandpa SO MUCH at blockbuster in approximately 2000 or 2001. I was born in '95, and this game was way too tough for me then. I loved this game so much. The nostalgia is almost too much to bear! 😁😁
Would need Co-op mode to earn that title, but could be consider the best Platformer-Beat'emup of the Psone era, not sure if all time. The crown of the best beat'emup ever still on Streets of Rage 2's head.
fighting force exellent game too. This game close too early games - like double dragon . Unlike final fight -this game like double dragon consist many platformer elements.
RECHOOSENONE You can't consider that Double Dragon had platforming elements. There was like three or four pits in the whole game, not even platforms, and only one of them was difficult(the lake bridge).
I thought I never finished this beauty but then I saw the end and I was like I totally did! This game is and always will be one of the best games ever.
Yes we Al had great chaildhood epic good memorias good memorias do you remamber legacy of kain soul rever that game was epic and I read on net it is geting a remake on ps5 yess
yeah it looks really awesome for a ps1 game also i think that the resolution used for this game was the same as crash bandicoot 1 and wipeout and CTR (512x240p) which makes look better than some other psx games. On my crt tv this game looks just as good as an emulator
God!! 😔🥺🥺😭 I swear it's a nostalgic video... I played it in 2002 I used to get down to this club to play it. the world was in a much better condition.. The smell of my mom's food from upstairs and the orange lights of the street... Ppl walking and talking happily... This game basically is one of my beautiful memories from the beautiful past days 😊❤️
Ahhh, such memories when we went down to Title Wave and rented it many times and my son used to play it, using cheats from the Tips & Tricks Magazine, until he finally beat the game! The worst part of the game is that there is no copyright year at the start of the game, so one can only assume that it was released in either 1999 or 2000.
Oh I miss this game so much! Good and simple times. This game made me fell so much love for Him Kong and China, sadly everything is different and bad today but I surely lived good moments with this game!
I never noticed it until now, but in the intro when Jackie's eating at the cafe. The background music is him singing and some of the posters are from his movies like Project A and Police Story 2.
Yep, he is an even better singer than he is an actor. And unlike his physical integrity, his voice hasn't been compromised in the slightest over the years.
man i loved this damn game. had it on the ps1 and i remember how i never made it past the fat chef. Always when i beat him the game froze, making it impossible to continue. but i still have some good memories with this.
Only the 90s gang would remember this gem. I was 6 when I had this game how ever did you manage to play this again? I'm crying it's bringing back so many memories
I had moved into a new neighborhood when I was around 11 and the neighbor, who was 4 years older, lent me this game and man, I couldn’t stop playing it. It was so smooth and the atmosphere truly was immersive. They don’t do it like that anymore.
I remember one time when I made Jackie fall on a fence, and that took the remaining of his health so it should have been game over, but a fish spawned in its place and he fell right on top it and I was able to continue hahaha Never forgot that moment of luck!
When i was a kid, i literally spend my time after school to end this game. No clues tool, book, internet, etc. just passionate & love of how i feel as i enjoyed this game.
These bring back so much memories. I used to play this with my brother when we were young, I'm 30 now and I miss the old days where games were fun to play and no one was sensitive and the world made sense... Now days everyones crazy about the midia.
Tomorrow Never Dies, Bio F.R.E.A.K.S, Earthworm Jim, Aladdin, Tekken, Mortal Kombat 4, Thrill Kill, Trapgunner, Shaolin, Steel Harbinger, War Gods, Crusaders of Might and Magic, Star Wars Dark Forces
I didn't realize as a kid, but the game is about shooting a movie, the clapperboard represents the number of takes you have left, and in the ending you can see all the bloopers that happened during filming, we are the director guiding Jackie trough the scenes and seeing everything in third person view
I remember when this game came out, Jacky was already soon passing his prime by then in the late 90's when Jacky finally get his well deserved recognition internationally for his stunt fu movies throughout his career. I think this game was the 3rd time he was made into a videogame as "Jacky Chan" after the Action Kung Fu and the arcade fighting game.
