Fun fact: near the end of his concerts, Psy usually just chugs an entire bottle of soju before the last song. Idk if he still does tbh but for anyone that doesn't know, modern soju is a 17% ish alcohol (depending on the brand. Red caps are like 25% I think and they're called that for having red caps and alcohol content similar to what it was in the 1970s) that's commonly drunk because of how cheap it is (it's like $2, maybe less depending on the exchange of won to dollar. It's like 2,500 won). For the alcoholics, modern soju is cheap and a good way to get drunk but it's just ethanol mixed with water so there isn't any real flavor. If you want a more authentic taste go for something like Andong soju, Andong being a province in Korea that's famous for the alcohol. It's 35% and made in the traditional way so it actually has flavor. It's pretty nice and comes in an old fashion bottle which is nice to keep around as decoration if you want.
