Admittedly when I first started watching this series, I was hoping Lassie would slowly befriend them over the course of the series. However, I love how Shawn and Gus always found new and inventive ways to get under his skin over the course of 8 seasons 😂
The nice thing about it is, while they didn’t actually become friends, Lassiter not wanting to watch the tape of Shawn’s confession really showed how his feelings about him changed over the course of the series.
The laugh at 1:42 is so hilarious. Gus knew that would be the annoying icing on the cake. Shawn poking at Lassiter’s ears is never not funny and the last clip hahahaha.
I love the part in an episode (of them finding Juliet's ex who was in witness protection program) when Lassiter asks Jules about her ex's weird fetishes then Shawn hits him and Lassiter proceeds to choke him while Gus starts crying
or in the Last Night Gus episode where all of them were scholded by chief Vic. Gus wasn't listening to the chief, Shawn and Lassie are fighting, Jules being the ref. And Henry not wearing any pants.
@@themachoechidnaugandarandy7583 season 6, episode 2 is late night Gus (I won’t spoil more, but this is literally the best episode of the whole series.)
You missed my personal favourite ... Shawn and Gus pull up in the car and Shawn yells "Gooood morning detectives, collecting donations for the he policemans ball?" Il let you finish the joke
Omg which episode is this?!!! I faintly remember the response is kinda like “we dont have a ball” and shawn answer “i dont know how to respond about that” (?) omg i have to rewatch that episode again!!!! Pls tell me which episode is that?!
I can't confirm this, but I think one of the best decisions the show made was turn a possible rivalry of Lassiter vs. Shawn and Gus into Lassiter being the straight man and Shawn and Gus just messing with him which eventually grew into an unspoken friendship. I always had this idea that in later seasons Lassiter actually came to view Shawn and Gus as genuinely good detectives, hence his willingness to work, or at least tolerate them more, but his pride, their disregard for protocol and the fact they screw around too much always got in the way. Possibly in some way, he was always hard on them so they could grow and be better detectives. He just never really realized it.
I think one of the best ones is the Spanish episode where Sean becomes Chad and Lassie sees his chair because the last year at that moment is just having a full down breakdown about how sean impossibly keep getting hired instantly at all these jobs and how he can have so many friends now that's talent
When I began watching this show two weeks ago, I was excited to see Amber from House! She was phenomenal in it even though she was on it only for a few episodes. Of course, I cannot imagine Psych going anyway other than with Jules as Lassie's partner, this entire show is just perfect 🥺❤️
That last scene from "Here's Lassie" was interestingly enough the only time I wanted to smack Shawn & Gus. Or maybe bang their heads together. While I figured Lassiter would ultimately be okay, it was the one time I was genuinely worried about him. I wasn't that scared for Lassie in "Shawn gets the yips" and he was a walking target. I think the opening credits kind of gave me a creepier vibe for this episode. And thus I really wanted to smack the daylights out of S & G when Lassie was scared enough to ask for their help because he knew he couldn't get thru it on his own.
Just think, if he had believed Shawn when he told him he was able to solve the case from watching the News, none of this would have ever happened! Meaning, that it's Lassie who is partially responsible for Shawn and Gus annoying him for 8 seasons. HA! But he never would have gotten married. And Shawn wouldn't have found Juliet. I suppose they should be thanking each other. Platonic live partners indeed.
It's so much fun watching actors from my fav show appearing on other fav shows. Was a supernatural fan and enjoyed every moment cain, bobby and satan himself appear in criminal minds along with Jody. I am on season 4 and I saw Bobby in one of the episodes. It's so much fun.

The best buddy show ever made - can't believe Parade didn't have them listed....Laverne & Shirley number 1? "Who are these people" I just wanted to be a rater (you guys are probably too young to get the quip from The Verdict - none the less Shawn & Gus should have been #1 hands down!!!!
