Mark, if you are listening, I want to thank you for doing this because 4 days ago my wife had a mental break and I'm at home pacing and terrified with nothing to tell me what or how I should be dealing with this. My wife had no history also. I read your "Lovely Wife" Article and am now watching your videos and I feel that there is hope. Thank you so much.

Though having not dealt with a mental illness, my wife experienced an ‘acute onset of MS’ while carrying our second child ... we had a one year old at the time and in the blink of an eye my wife was nearly totally paralyzed and was admitted into a neuro-rehabilitation center for three months ... a healthy, vibrant personality was reduced to a person I almost didn’t recognize ... I identify with much of what Mark experienced ... 31 years of marriage have passed and we have learned to deal with the ups & downs of life ... ‘... in sickness & in health, till death due us part’ ❤️❤️

My son. My son is so I'll, I have no idea what his future is gonna be. I am so sorry but, I am so fuckin scared I don't know what to do with myself. I don't know who's ass to kick. As a mom, we kill anything that hurts our kids. What do you do when your child's worst enemy is himself? His head. I appreciate the hell out of your story. My you and your family have, peace, more love and happiness. My husband deals with my mental problems and NEVER throws it in my face. Just listens. Doesn't tell me how to feel or make me feel bad for how I do feel. He just loves me through it. Men like you guys are unheard of. I am so blessed to have my husband. I know he puts up with some outlandish ish. I try so hard to are sure he knows, I appreciate him and he's the bestest estest friend anyone could ever be lucky enough to get to have. Thar is all, I can offer him for all he does. He is the mac.

I truly felt like I was walking beside his images, his story, his emotion and his expression of his experience - it is honorable to respect this truth. I felt those white walls and the numbness those pills in small cups make people, the fear of facing such an unknown, his tears without a need to wipe them away or tell him to man up but to just let him recite his heart. Thank you Mark

If only that were true. Going through the same thing with my significant other right now. They've talked to multiple doctors, psychiatrists and brain specialists. Tried every drug there is in the book. Right now we're trying to focus on eating food that's been promoted as being beneficial according to blood type. Some natural remedies including blending Banana peals. If you're aware of treatment that has actually been successful for someone with Bipolar 2. please let me know.

My mom went through this. It is a grueling experience not know what is going to happen... No one else in the house wanted to help besides her sister. It was all left to me. I did the shock treatments, doctor appointments, giving her her meds. It is an emotional roller coaster. Never feeling like you can help, always wanting to break down and you can't you have to keep it together for that person! Thank you for sharing your story, it is a very tough situation to talk about.

i feel for you man, my brother also had gone through with similar situation like yours... And the pain it caused me watching him doing things normal people don't do, really struck me hard. There were also times where i asked myself if he will get better. Every time i remember him and me when he's still sane made me cry hard. He was so young when he get so depressed and later on mentally ill. I think he's only sixteen back then. Imagine how would a mother react to that. But i am fortunate that my mother is a strong woman and she did handle my brother pretty well although there are several times where he rants and punches everyone he sees. Today, he's fine. He finished his highschool and later on took a degree in computer programming and had finished it last year.

Its not like another disease in health care your embarrassed to say your on an anti depressant right away they profile you. I’ll stop now, and send to strength, peace and unconditional love for your wife. She needs you as her advocate, her friend and her safe place.

i was depressed for the age of 13 to probably today. my therapist did maybe 8% of work, medication didn't help at all. insteat, what really helped me was going through my emotions which didn't have a place in my households. what's next important? your environment, i can't emphazise this enough how important it is that you have nortouring parents how are not alcoholics, or emotional unavailable. what does reparenting, inner child work or fight flight mean? education helped me pull my ass of this trauma. almost ALONE from 13 years old. I went through abandonment and discard and split in myself which must be therr in order to cope with the situation. you know what? experience in healing yourself can't be compared to a bachelor degree. if i speak about this i'm passionate, i know what was going on and fought like tiger, that seemed to kill itself. guess what. i write THIS. And I'm proud. also, the stigma got me in my teenage years. the real real real problem is that therapists can't scan or imagine things that were NOT done to you. i repied: NOT done. abuse by ommission. You want to here my story? invite me. I want to share and help all desperate people who need guidance, BECAUSE maybe you were born in hell and just COPED life and you just don't know. welcome to the "just medicate this person world" medication has it's worth, but many many many times it is used as denial. people have to learn again what is real health and have to connect to their core (emotions) which is often supressed in our society. how dare you don't fit it. how could you not? shame on you, poor pitty boy. Obviously i'm kidding, but this is in peoples heads. compassion is needed on this planet as nothing else. if you could resonate with this post like it, so other people can see it. Thank you

Omega 3. Do a search for Andrew Stoll. He is a Harvard medical psychiatrist who researched and wrote a book. We have seen it work for bipolar. The approach we used was not taking pills but a whole diet overhaul. It is now about 15 years and things are still more than stable.

im sitting here, bawling my eyes out. my little brother is in the ICU, after yet another suicide attempt. I am so lost. So confused. So heartbroken...for the pain he is in, and subsequently the pain my parents are in. I cant imagine living day to day, wondering when it is...your child, your baby....might actually end their own life. His first question when he woke up, was why am I here? Why didnt you let me go? He eill never understand the depth of my love for him... but I almost feel guilty for forcing him to do be when he doesnt want to. Please Jon, stay strong. Keep fighting. We will find a way, no matter what it takes.

My ex I recently split with has bipolar disorder we have been on and off for five years... I always stood by his side no matter what even during episodes but he always cheats and leaves when he is manic. It's the hardest thing in the world to not be by his side the whole time because he turns me away but still after I understand so well it's hard not to hurt for him.

The Law of Attraction never lies. We get fed what we are thinking. We humans communicate with feelings. I feel that the family wants to bring her home because they love her. Or someone is having fun using her thoughts to hurt the man. Being stuck in evolution can sometimes trigger horrible things in order to progress again. Have you ever heard of Dolores Cannon?

what happens when your spouse will not go to the doctor? There is no one to force him to go and believe me he cannot be forced... I feel all alone sometimes... I really want it to pass but it has been months and nothing is happening. I just try and enjoy the few minutes when his mind is back and then... he is gone...
@Nallanyesmar
@Nallanyesmar 8 лет назад
+starlitdreams If you're loved one refuses to go to the doctor, the time will come where police will intervene, and, hopefully, intervene in away where no one is hurt. My dad wasn't going to go to the hospital, for he thought he was the only sane one. When it got bad, the police showed up, and, I learned that Haldol and donepezil seem to love me... well, allow my dad to not think I and my mom are trying to kill him. He supposedly came down with dementia due to old age.

Electro shock works well for bipolar. Someone close to me has it, and, it works for her. By the way, Haldol and donepezil works well for those who are psychotic with Sun Downer's Dementia, I've discovered. Anyway, the things that people go through is amazing. I think we need to be rewarded in Heaven for it. After all, who remembers asking to be born a human with bad brain chemistry?
