My third son was diagnosed with ADHD and on Ritalin for years. And as you said, that does not define who you are.

I’m not convinced he regularly takes his meds. My impression of his debate was he was talking in whole sentences, was less distracted than normal, wasn’t slurring or mispronouncing as many words and wasn’t totally taking the bait at first. Being “treated” explains how he could seem more put together than normal.

I taught myself (or school taught me, because I had to lie to teachers and my parents a lot) you can practice remembering things, precisely to lie better. And I'm quite good at lying.

I've worked as a TV production assistant. Those Fresnel spots are brighter in person than how they appear when you see it on the air. The first thing I thought when they talked about his eyes is that large pupils would not be a normal eye response in that environment.

I doubt this. I’ve been asked suddenly, jarringly, in the middle of conversations if I’m high or something. Like the people who asked seemed shocked by how dilated my pupils were. One time was under fluorescent lights in a store. I also have lighter eyes and am very sensitive to sun light. At the time, I would have only caffeine in my system if anything. I never figured out any specific cause
