I'm so sorry for your loss I can't imagine the pain of losing a child. The reason people are calling him out is to protect people like you from getting exploited by him. At least that's my reason because he also charges $700 an hour for readings and he's stealing their money and exploiting people who are grieving and in incredible pain. See if you can focus on him coming into your dreams; we're generally most receptive in that state. Also please let yourself let go of any heavy emotions you may be hanging onto, grief, sadness, worry, depression, etc, because it's very hard for them to get through those dark clouds. A parent can become jealous that the nextdoor neighbor had a visit from the son or daughter, and they didn't 😩. That can be because the neighbor didn't have the emotional barrier to get through. Also, see if there are Spiritualist churches anywhere in your area. They're often careful about screening mediums for veracity, and you may hear from your son in that way. Sincere best wishes!

There are no such thing as "real psychics". At least in the sense that they would NEVER pass a scientific controlled experiment/test.

That may be true for psychics, as you mentioned. But mediumship is about 100 steps above psychicism, and far more sensitive. Remember, there is NO DEATH. When you let this sink in, you realize that the energy felt by the medium is basically the same, whether the person coming through is on this side or crossed over. The spirit often has to give the medium a sign, like a pain or impact to let them know they've transitioned.

She keeps a picture of her mom on the left side of her dresser. When do we ever see James start out by asking who he’s about to read, what their name is? He does that here with everyone before he starts reading because he’s got some info and he needs to know who to match it up with. Why else would he do that? He doesn’t call any of them by their names while he’s talking to them so why is he starting out with everybody with “What’s your name?” If he actually read everyone the way he read that woman, he’d have me totally convinced he’s legit. If he was reading for your family after you died and said “Was there a funeral?” and your family said no, he’d respond “Yes because she’s telling me, there was no funeral.” He wouldn’t be able to do what he does without relying on probabilities. Just because there are rare times when a family buries someone without a funeral doesn’t mean him discussing funerals isn’t an almost guaranteed hit. And it sounds like you believe you have a gift which is different than someone like this guy scamming people. But you also get to tell your stories from only your perception and you want to believe that you’re the real deal so confirmation bias is definitely something to take into account. Tons of people predicted covid, including Obama. It has nothing to do with being psychic. It has everything to do with science and knowing how viruses spread. We’ve had H1N1, Ebola, SARS. Predicting another virus isn’t impressive. And if you actually have the ability to predict your own car accidents, why on earth would you be driving during that time?
