Hey! I've been watching your videos for quite some time now and appreciate the amount of extensive comprehensive knowledge you provide. I'm 15 and have been wearing retractive based orthodontic braces with extractions for a year. I was a mouth breather my entire life because of my tonsils always getting inflamed and an accident I suffered as a kid. This in tandem to my poor myofunctional habits of growing up Asian eating soft foods and not swallowing correctly subsequently led to crooked teeth and deficiencies in the growth of my jaws. I went to an ignorant traditional orthodontist and since, all my previous symptoms of cranial facial dystrophy have been maladapted. I get headaches, jaw pain, and despite my athletic prowess, it's getting more difficult to compete in sports because of my asthma. It's almost become impossible to habituate proper oral habits because of my narrow palate. My face has swung downwards and became thinner. Totally unrelated but I have noticed a decrease in cognitive ability. Regardless, I have consulted with a member of the American Society of Cranialfacial pain that is familiar with orthotropic and specializes in treating TMJ. I am financially limited so this might not be an option. However, if I stop wearing my braces I might lose my teeth shifting into the extraction sites and furthermore, if I continue, everything will only get worse. Like all cases, I know you can't provide a specific treatment plan because you don't know the specifics of my situation. I haven't received any xraying or mri's so far either. I understand agga just moves the alveolar bone. Is MSE + Facemask my only option for 3D growth? Is it possible to just say fuck it, remove my braces, pray to god and mew without damaging my teeth or tipping them? Thanks!
I'm so sorry this has happened to you. Try to persevere, because there is definitely reason to believe that these symptoms could for the most part be recurred to their previous state if not better.

A wise person says”don’t take score too soon” meaning you can’t predict the future. So keep an open mind and keep doing what you were inspired to do. Because you are an inspiration. “Stick with it Ron” as another wise person said!
This is very depressing. Having a different school of thought and going against the grain is the foundation of science. However, Ronald, dentofacial orthopedics is part of orthodontic study. You can focus on that aspect of orthodontics which is allowable and won’t get you banned from the dental association.
