This is everything I wanted to happen since I started the show when I was a teen. The only logical conclusion for her if she wants to make a system that'll work as intended: show everyone its flaws.
As strong will Akane is, she suffered a lot through her time as an inspector. The system can’t judge her for execution, so instead they locked her in prison. She definitely showed the world just how flawed Sibyl was.
Yup, although unlike the others she didn't get added into the system, probably because they need society to forget her existence and what she committed
im obsessed w the way she shoots kasei. also a v silly reflection of what kougami did in season 1, taking justice into his own hands, but in a different way because akane does this for the better of society as a whole (instead of for selfish revenge like kougami did)
I would say it’s more nuanced and impactful. She’s made a full character arc and is making a conscious decision that she couldn’t back in season 1. She had to fight against her own instincts and nature to do what she thought was right. Kougami was more pursuing his own vengeance above all else. In a way I’d argue she truly embodied what it means to make a true decision in life.
It's more about personal justice (kougami) and societal justice (sibyl). The system determines highest happiness for most of the people. It does not consider each individual circumstances. Which is flawed. Anime shows examples of this flaw throughout the series. In season 3 Kanizuka carry out interviews asking each character what justice means for them. Everyone has different answers. Kougami was indeed taking his revenge, but makishima was the actual criminal. But system decided it's fine. Similarly how system decided that bullying one guy is fine if it's reduces stress for more people and only victim suffers. That was unfair and unjust for that individual.
@@johans9866 the system never ruled on bullying the individual, it was simply apathetic. The system they used at that facility was created by the people there in order to keep their hues low and take out frustrations due to lack of recreation. You could argue with personal justice however Kogami was obsessed with it and ended it by simply putting in Shogo’s head. Kogami wasn’t thinking about society or right or wrong when he shot Shogo, which is pointed out in Sinners of the system and other pieces of the story.
@randomt800kiddo2 there was a scene where her psycho-pass rose to near 90; she's never had her coefficient recorded at 0, and they never once directly stated that she's criminally asymptomatic
Absolutely, what she did was to inform the public that Sibyl System is not absolute by publicly gunning down a person ( unknown to public that it is a cyborg ) while she retains her hues clear. Her actions also made the government cancel the abolition of Ministry of Justice.
same thoughts but she didn't want flaws of the system to be seen as a way to entertain her with how it plays out She did in order for justice to be put in place but then again If it wasn't for Makishima who paved the way she would not know how to do it. Well she might have found a different way..
probably made that way so the fans keep watching more episodes and movies. I honestly had a hard time going trough season 3. As much as season 2 had many flaws it somehow was more entertainig to watch. Not saying 3 was bad it just wasn't my cup of tea
Akane es criminalmente asintomatica, le disparó a la directora para que la existencia de estos no deje de ser un secreto y así el sybil no quiera integrarlos a él y respete su libertad individual como con arata y puedan ser individuos libres
She’s not, Akane is just an individual who’s able to maintain a very low hue, she knows the director is a robot so shooting her doesn’t raise her criminal coefficient.
@@JuanRojas-fr8hb si lo es, por algo en la segunda temporada el sybil la invita a unirse intenta reclutarla, ella es asintomatica solo que no lo sabía lo va descubriendo. En la última película providence te explica.
Movie was not so good but if you give me some that kind ending the whole movie really dosnt much matter. That ending was awasome. Some of people wrote that the crime points didint increase bec she was a cyborg but Im really dont think that its so important. I think its more about what sybil thinks about crimes. What is a threat for sybil and what is a problem. Sybil dont fear problems. Its just fears about threats. And akane dont a threat for sybil, sybil knows that akane show respect to him. Akane just shows a BIG problem to sybil. If people agree with you about everything, first people lost their value, and after you Gonna lose your value. So its not a threat, its just a hard challenge. Because of that sybil didint saw this as a "crime".
Oh please we need makishima sougo like charachter in new season and become last boss. And dont die easily. We need james moriarty charachter so Sherlock Holmes become perfect story. With this logic, we need a true villain who want to destroy siby sytem and the society and bring it down to chaos era like other countries. Cause for me, we cannot believe AI Law System without human interference. This is better live in chaos era with humanity standart rather than dystopia era with 1984 novel. Please Bring an Endgame Villain.
I haven't watched the movie but if I may judging from this scene... Season 3 feels like it has a little correlation with the whole franchise? Enlighten me please.... Also, do they planned to have another season after this?
Dude don’t be annoying go and watch s1 again or Moriarty again, why should we have to play with petty criminal minds yet again, they need to get rid of Sybil now
i think the ending is 9/10 but the whole movie is 6/10, it's going back in circle with Akane helping Kougami and Kougami helping akane, my complain was the characters death it feels unjustified rushed and unecesary, there are many unesecarry scene that drag the movie (some examples like the plane scene. Also damn Shougo was right all along Sybil is corupt and even with Akane you really can't justify Sybil
Akane's trying hard to act like Makishima here. it took her a few seasons to reach his conclusion, now she is proving exactly his point. S1 was the best & he was a brilliant villain. the point is when she does it, somehow everyone applauds her. even the system admits she is right. what a mary sue.
@@theperfectanomaly.you are the most ridiculous here, can’t you even see the difference between them? Makishima only appeared in S1, how is that him carrying the plot, they could have put anybody in his place in S1 and it would have been good with Kougami and Akane as a duo. In any case, I don’t feel like we are gonna agree on this so good day ahead.
@@zeimen9529 thanks but yeah I saw the movie since and I loved it btw ^^ I wonder if they will do a last movie or season to explain what happened after akane got out
@@sontraninh8819 still for me when she shot the president of Sibyl system, I thought why did she do it and felt bad when she cried in jail. Hope she breaks out, I never liked the Sibyl system and in real life I never liked any system or government.
she literally exposed the system's greatest flaw to the entire japanese public so they dont abandon traditional law, she doesnt blindly believe in sibyl, she believes in coexistence between laws and sibyl
She shows off in S1 to Shogo when he's in custody just how "realistic" her robotic body is. So advanced that public isn't allowed to access this type of technology not even the rich. It's been improved upon over the years I'm assuming cause damn she's "died" a lot🤣 and yeah seeming alive to the public is important so blood and all
Kasei to me is the creepiest villain in psychopass, i didn't know based from this comment ,that she is a robot which makes it creepier. aside from makashima who is my favorite villain, i get strange stomach feelings when she spawns up in the show, i always felt like she was artificial.
@@javierpacheco8234she is not villain or saint she creepy because she is AI in humanoid form first time i see sibyl is villain but after this its perfect solutions for the world ai coexist with human
@@javierpacheco8234she is not villain or saint she creepy because she is AI in humanoid form first time i see sibyl is villain but after this its perfect solutions for the world ai coexist with human
What does Kogami mean at the end? I don't really remember what he does in S3 to get her out of there (or is it more like a promise to be there the moment he gets out)
I think he was only temperory agreed to help Fredrica for few gigs because SAD was not officially set and it's a payback for her helping him out in SS case 3. But now with Akane in jail, he decides to stay back for her. (he hates to work under any authorization but he decides to be an enforcer again) He eventually picks her up when she got released in first inspector final episode
It was a challenge to Sybil system. She shot the chief on tv with a clear hue. This would make people question the validation of the Sybil system when someone who committed a crime would be viewed as a good citizen. People didn't know the chief wasn't human so Sybil didn't view her as criminal.
She needs to show that some people can commit crime openly without having their crime coefficient raised up. In the previous two seasons, the villain's crime coefficient is classified along with the fact of their existence. By committing crime so openly, the Sibyl system can no longer hide the fact and thus preserving the judicial system that's about to be abolished.
bruh she wouldve been used in the same way sindo atsushi (arata's dad) as a scapegoat for sibyl's crimes. she wants people to question the sibyl system's judgements n in order for both the people and the system to grow/evolve
@Nexcersis I personally think it doesn't mater that she shot someone who is technical not a person, as due to akanes sense of justice and mental stability even if they were a real person the system would still see them is a proper hue. This also adds more to the flaws of the system and proves them better. Also keep in mind the system is still technically human in some way as it thinks like us. Akane definitely see the system as more than simple ai so her taking its life there is a chance her hue would change. She takes this risk for the greater good. Other wise what you said is fully correct.

@@dis9078f because all she ever does is literally say "fuck the system Imma change it" and accomplish absolutely NOTHING, every single time. Mika, on the other hand, has had the biggest character development in the series, reaching as far as having Sibyl itself acknowledge her, while continuously bullying/toying with Akane.
