dude me too! i actually found this video because I played Silent Hill 2 recently and searched for books and came here. Shutter island is a great book and very similar to silent hill
Glad to see you would still recommend Shutter Island even after seeing the movie and knowing the twist. I've been on the fence because of this, but have heard great things about the book so am gonna check it out!
Two recommendations for you, Zack. The Devil Aspect by Craig Russell and The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides. Both are phenomenal psychological books maybe not so much horror, but still great nonetheless 😉
Hey Zack, Misery is one of my favorite books! Thought id give some of my insight. Based off personal observations and King’s history, I believe Annie is supposed to be a personification of drug addiction. Without spoiling anything, this idea is supported by the final chapter of the book. I think this lens gives the narrative a very unsettling feeling, even moreso than it already does. Good recommendation!
I love Misery, one of my favourite Stephen King books. Also really liked Shutter Island. Not read Silence of the Lambs yet, planning to read Red Dragon first. I recommend The Watchers by A.M Shine, which I read recently and really enjoyed.
Misery is one of the best book I've read by Stephen King.. Silent of the lamb.. ooh the intensity of the thriller keeps your heart beat going!! 💓 Shutter Island sounds interesting. All good selections. 😊👻.. Anna Heltzel.. Just like mother was creepy read..
