This song really made clear how addiction influenced his life, a big misunderstanding is that people think juice supported drug abuse, while the whole point of this song was to warn people about the dangers of addiction

I'm 24 and I'm a 2 tour combat veteran. I struggle with liquor and pills. I'm trying to get better. I got engaged and I have a little 4 year old to care for. Thanks for the comment Adam! Doing this for 25 years has taught me a lot. Yes I need my own therapy like any other quality therapist needs their own. It’s a lot to soak in every day but I have an AMAZING family life outside of work, and doing these videos with my son has made life even better. I’m able to connect with people in a whole new way. Dealing with anxiety, depression, addiction, PTSD, etc is a lot but I have always LOVED my job. Thanks so much for watching, supporting and commenting😊👍

The sad thing about his overdose is that he actually wanted to start getting help. His girlfriend said that he had already planned rehabbing therapy, but sadly never made it. R.I.P Juice WRLD 999 never forgotten 🖤🖤🖤

saidly from multiple sources such as lil bibby himself, juice agreed going to rehab but he said that he wont stop doing the drugs. Maybe rehab wouldve gotten him out of it but how i heared he wanted to go to lower his tollerance.

when he says “Lean with me, pop with me, get high with me if you rock with me, smoke with me, drink with me, fucked up liver with some bad kidneys” he’s basically saying hey if you really mess with me and you’re on my team take all these drugs with me but just know the consequences which is a “fucked up liver with some bad Kidneys” I don’t think he’s condoning the use of drugs or telling ppl to take drugs with him, I believe he’s giving you a warning like hey if you take all these drugs this will be the consequence. Ppl get this song messed up and think he’s praising drugs and telling ppl to take drugs to show that they rock with him.

“Went to Hollywood thrills from the street life, took too many pills now I don’t feel right” it’s so sad cause juice is just like everybody else wanting to live that life except he was able to achieve that dream of living the Hollywood/rockstar life, he didn’t know what he had bargained for though because that’s the fast life, living how you want, living in ecstasy 24/7 that isn’t reality and it ends with a big crash or death.

Lean with me is a reference to doing codeine, promethazine, Pop with me is a reference to taking pills oraly When I was going through addiction I'd listen to this song everyday while doing drugs and crying at the same time... Eventually I stopped because the music made me self conscience.. In a way he helped me realize what I was doing is wrong and needed to change

also one thing to note about juice wrld is he freestyles all of his songs meaning he doesn't write anything down just completely says what he's thinking about in the moment when he records so there's a lot to digest just in that. Basically it's authentic

The way I interpreted the song was that he was saying to join him and see how “fun” it is. To kill your body and maybe your own life just to feel high. It was almost an anti drug message hidden in a video where he constantly talks about doing them.

It is refreshing to see an older (young at heart I’m sure), articulate person reacting, and more so enjoying this music! Im sure you already know by now, but i would let it play out til the last second in the future at least if its a music video. Some videos have last words or hidden messages, and this video had a message at the end. That little thing made the song be against drugs and getting help, when the lyrics were clearly all for it, doing drugs, living that party lifestyle, party wit him, drug abuse. It was like a hint in an interesting weird way. Yet again, awesome reaction, thanks for covering this.

“Lean with me” means “take lean with me” and lean is a mixture of Codeine cough syrup and sprite. “Pop with me” I assume means “pop pills with me”. Great reaction, would love to see you react to Bad Energy or Empty by Juice wrld

Juice never glorified drug use. We always saw the real perspective of drug use and addiction, not the fun one. Thats why hes always been my favorite rapper.

"Lean with me" is a reference to the drug called promethazine with codeine, Juice and many other rap artists would mix this with sprite or other sodas and drink it to form a very addictive combination known as lean/purple drank. He's basically insinuating to pour up lean with him. "Pop with me" just references the act of popping pills or popping mdma, again he's telling the listener to "pop with me" if they rock with him and his music.

The overdose thing did actually happen. He made a song about it it’s called NoseBleed. It just wasn’t his girlfriend it was a groupie that in his words “was tryna overdose for clout”

Actually every clip in this video has a deep meaning. The last one where he was walking down the church , it just means he's trying to get rid of his demons and he's trying to pray that he doesn't overdose and die and he can see tomorrow or he's just trying get rid of his insanity the clip just represents that. I think them circling around him was sort of like him saying he’s surrounded by other drug users knowing what they’re doing is bad but for them it’s been necessary in order to survive and that’s why he says “I know that I’m not right but I’m not wrong” just my own p.o.v I used to pop pills and I thought it was the only thing that made me feel right took me a while to realize I didn’t need anything to feel okay being sober I noticed the difference in my thoughts. Really sucks cause I am the same age as juice he was someone I connected with, it really felt like he was in my head or in my shoes sometimes. Rest In Peace Juice

Juice has a severe drug addiction. he would be popping up to 20 pills at a time, and that’s how he ultimately died, a seizure induced by drugs. that’s why a lot of his lyrics were drug based because he couldn’t stop, he wanted to, but the people he loved all did drugs

@@licknooney2053 this was a kid who was diagnosed with ADHD in 3rd or 5th grade because he had too much energy and was given pills to slow him down then was introduced to opioids because of it and was able to make words come together even more when high. After Lucid Dreams went viral he began to take more and more to keep up with the lifestyle and got to a point where he couldn’t stop himself but knew it would kill him. Addicts can’t just stop and go to rehab so easily. Eminem said it best when he said that pills don’t make you feel fucked up like crack and heroin and are so easy to take, then would give rid of any friend that said he should stop. He was lucky and made it to a hospital before he OD’d. That was his rock bottom. I believe if Juice had survived his OD, he would have quit but the cops were more concerned with arresting him than calling an ambulance.

Lean with me, refers to the drink “lean” which is made with codeine cough syrup. It got its name from texas rappers leaning while using it. “Pop with me” means popping pills, as in taking them.

It’s amazing that Jarrod is still reaching people beyond age limits and race to bring across his perspective of life. I find myself crying often listening to juice wrlds songs. He was crying out for help. Yeah some ppl say he didn’t want to get clean and maybe that’s true but he knew deep down if he didn’t he’d be dead. I’m a recovering addict and I know nobody can make you want to get help but the people around him just listened to all of these songs Way before we did and nobody tried to help him. It’s just sad. Unbelievably sad.

One thing i always think about when people talk about mental health, is that its always said that its the individual who have to look inwards and fix things (with help from others). How come its always that level of focus on the individual and so little on the issues society creates. There are a lot of people out there who are fighting hard as f--- to survive and to make things better, but society keeps messing with them. Stepping on them. Putting up walls. Etc etc... When are we going to start talking about the problems that are created by society and that society needs to fix. These are things that messes with people and that an individual cant fix.
