Yooo, I didn't watch the whole live stream a few days ago because my connections was messed up, but I like that idea of the mystery reaction. Love watching you react to these kind of songs and keeping the positive vibes! And it wouldn't be a comment on a reaction channel without a song request, so today I'm going to request "Afterall" by Beartooth. They're a heavy rock band with some rough vocals ("screamo"), but this ones a little easier on the ears lol (meaning only clean vocals, not "screamo"), still amazing lyrics.

You should react to Joshua Bassett he’s a 21 year old actor and singer and the past year has been hell for him. Last year his co star and possibly ex released a song that everybody thought was about him and another actress and singer Sabrina carpenter and so his co star Olivia Rodrigo basically blew up from that song but the media was sending him and Sabrina death threats and harassing him all year last year and it got worse when she released her album in may. A week after she released the first song he was hospitalized with septic shock and heart failure and he was told if he hadn’t gone to the hospital he would have died in 12 hours. He only had a 30% chance to survive surgery and he wasn’t getting better for 3 days. At that time it was January 2021 he had just turned 20 in December. After all of that there was drama and stupid shit for months and he just stayed quiet and only praised Olivia. In December 2021 he talked about what all that did to him and how he couldn’t go anywhere without ppl harassing him basically. He also talked about being sexually abused by a family member from when he was 5 -9 years old and then when he was 13 he was groomed by his 18 year old friend I’m not sure how long that went on. When he was 16 there were rumors spread about him and another guy and ppl cared more about his sexuality rather than the fact that he was being abused. He moved to LA when he was 16 to work on a Disney show called stuck in the middle and he moved out alone and then didn’t have another job till he was 18. He was on greys anatomy for an episode before he was on high school musical the musical the series which was his break out role. It was in 2019. He was rumored to date Olivia from late 2019 to early 2020 and he started dating Sabrina in June of 2020 but they broke up sometime last year. He’s been through more stuff that I didn’t mention and stuff he also hasn’t talked about and he released three songs in December. Crisis- this is the first song and it basically is towards Olivia Rodrigo but also the media and stuff he went through Secret- this is about Olivia cheating on him Set me free- this song is so beautiful and not only is it about Olivia but also his year and time in the hospital and he relates It to his sexual abuse as well Now these other songs aren’t about the drama but are also emotional Only a matter of time- he wrote this went he was accused of sexual assault in 2020 and it was later proven false but he was upset about the situation and he wrote this song in 20 minutes LA (live)- this is definitely somewhat about the situation that was going on at that time but it’s more about his own mental health rather than what was happening. When he was in the hospital the ppl that should have been there for him weren’t and he was just going through a lot
