The guitars and the drums complement each other rhythmically so good! Crazy cool riffs, song structure and production. Looking forward for the album...
I TOTALLY agree!....Ive been spreadin word about these guys for so long...I got quite a few fellow metal heads hungry for them. They dont get enough exposure here in Canada IMO
@@5H4D0WK1LL3RA55A551N not bad ratings necessarily, but just not enough recognition in the world at large. Obviously, within the community itself they've made a name for themselves, but extreme metal is a pretty niche art form. My comment was more to emphasize that they're notoriety worldwide doesn't match they're talent.
I've seen Psycroptic live at least 6 times In ACT and I will be totally fair when I say they are the greatest live metal band that there is Up close to the stage this is really the tightest band I've ever seen This is with hundreds of gigs worth of experience in the metal community including many of the bigger pioneers of the modern wave of metal genres I found a sceptre of the ancients poster about 10 years ago and that's when I got into psycro
I hope they come back again soon. I came across them when Dean Lamb featured Exitus on his channel, looked to see if they had any gigs and what do you know, there was a gig at The Basement literally two days later. It was some multiday event with heaps of bands though, so was way too expensive when I only wanted to see Psycroptic. Next time!
you lucky bigger!!! I wish I had seen them Live 🤘they make me proud to be Australian 🤘 and they are one of the best bands by far, Australian metal God's!!!🤘🤘🤘
Just the fact that appreciate Athiest probably makes you one of the coolest guys on the planet!!! Not many people really even know them let alone cite them!!!
Technical Death Metal in case anyone was wondering though some people mentioned they sound thrashy (1:32) and I agree. Saw them live in Darwin, Fucking good band. \m/
I discovered this band just today :-) :-) Really great songs - this (what an intro too!), and a few others that I've heard! Quite a bunch them! ....and the Vocals and Guitars almost set right everything that's gone wrong with Metal today!
First listen I hated it, but its grown on me! He's sick I reckon, and maybe its not the meta of death metal vocals but that's cool that they are doing there own thing.
I think he's badass. Has more than one style and a good vocal range, distorted yet audible vocals, suits their sound for sure. Their other vocalist was really good too.
Righteous.... Completely in your face with more power behind it. Given the fact that it has a Pantera meets Lamb of God feel. Just awesome guys very awesome.
Now that I'm re listening to this, I'm starting to think that the vocalist sounds a bit like chuck schuldiner actually! Not identical obviously, but there's something that reminds me of him In his voice for some reason
I just stopped by to give you a listen because I'm going to see you on Sunday at Brick By Brick in San Diego, Sunday Sept 29th. Stoked I checked it out because I love it. Nice work, guys!!!
+Jimi Brady Necrophagist had to die like Tupac and Biggie or it wouldn't have been as big and known as it is today. It died a martyr for Technical Death Metal. \m/
+Thrashmetal6666 Seen Necrophagist live twice and they still blew my mind harder than pretty much any of the other hundreds of metal bands I've seen live. Still laughed at your comment though, they really shouldn't be considered a band anymore at this point. First time I saw them I got footage of the show back in 2006, it's on my channel but not great quality...there is a part in one of the songs where one of the speaker stacks almost falls on my buddy. Second time I saw them was in LA at the House of Blues and Decapitated was there...one of my favorite bands of all time, and this was like 2 months before the bus accident. I got to see Vitek playing live with his brother on stage and it is my all time favorite metal moment. Sorry for the long story, I'm pretty drunk and I was just going through youtube, rocking out to some good tracks.
psycold Awesome story hahaha I sadly have not seen Vitek or Necrophagist but I've been to my fair share of metal shows so I appreciate some metal stories haha
big fucking ass thanks to Shannon and Family that produce the Bris31 Underground Metal show!!! I would never have discovered this band without you!!! Hope to see you all at their gig at the crow bar in the next couple of days!
thumbs up to this band... they can be recognized from 10000 miles! love the way they have evolved.... and all those blistering intro melodies just fucking blows!
Can't agree with you there man. The production is next level in this album, but the sheer amount of crushing riffs and ballads of awesomeness from previous albums like scepter, symbols and even isle of disenchantment beat this album in my book
