last week I got CDL! and I already got job interview next week!!!! hooray! As I have played 300 hours American truck simulator, road test was so easy :)
Yeah he ran that red light lmao I'm weak! But they want you to go 15 under the speed limit because most swift driver's end up in ditches even with clear road conditions 😂🤣 glad you left that company!
Watching you go over the bridge and say "look at the view" I get light headed just sitting here. I realize I am safe but those views from bridges and cliffs still turn my knees and stuff to jelly. Need to get over it cause I sure don't need any phobias.
New subscriber , from Canada 🇨🇦 going in trucking very soon, license in my pocket, but thinking long and hard on the choices . Keep the videos coming. Keep trucking.
Owner operator is the way to go. I plan on getting a truck and working for landstar too. Good company you can make over $3/mile if you own your own rig.
Your Freightliner steering wheel is exactly the same as on my Mercedes Atego, I know they own Freightliner, but it's kinda eerie seeing the exact same part being used.
300th like lmao keep up the good work and even tho you are still a rookie trucker thank you for what you do. also any tips since you are still fresh out of the class with swift i plan on going through them for the 1st year or so any advice you have would be greatly appreciated? thanks in advance and keep the tires moving even in the older cascadia lmao
My man over 1K Subscribers!!! This is awesome man! I can't wait till you are pocketing some monster cash from your channel, right now you are paying your dues, grinding these videos, the payoff will come shortlee man! Keep it up and keep a positive attitude, don't let anybody make you lose your cool!!
FYI. If you have cruise control on you won’t get an event for following distance. If your foot is on the pedal and you’re too close the following distance event might activate the cam
Time to put your big boy pants on and go otr. You're leaving at least 400 dollars on the table. Maybe try it for a few months don't be scary. Lol be safe
Good luck bro, I got a ways to go before I get to my mentorship part of the training. Awesome time out here. Just sucks not being able to make money. Also the school is behind on the training so what is a a 3 week training has turned into almost 6-7 weeks because the DMV is backed up
It is for the Richmond, VA area. It’s totally out of the instructors and supervisors hands. They are doing great. They are always checking to make sure you are squared away. It’s mostly just because the DMV for out of state students they will only test 3 in a day I believe. The training is very thorough. It’s a accelerated course so you must pay attention and really put in the extra effort. You’re only going to get what you put into it.
Could it be because your new? And because there are so many You Tube vids about swift drivers making booboos and I'm sure that's affecting Swifts bottom line. But like you said that can get annoying,Take care man.
I feel like somebody can’t get fired from swift well they can but it’s gonna be pretty hard trying to find another company cause swift is a second chance company so if you get fired from there it’s like well now what but idk. nice video bro like always keep it up 👊🏽👊🏽😎
Hey brother I'm back haha I was going through ur videos and this one is interesting since driver leaders are in ur case haha mine don't really call unless is about a load being switch infact I think I call her more than she does haha just keep ur head up and I have not answered the phone call plenty of time and just given them a call back just tell them you don't have a head set safety first 😂😂 that's what I do which it's true good luck keep on trucking brother ...
Don't do a lease purchase program through a trucking company. Unless it's a true independent lease. Most companies are going to want you to stay with their company and then you are screwed.
just a freightliner heard parts are cheap on those trucks🤔 but before i go lease im going to try dealership for lower monthly payments instead of lease weekly payments
@@jomabrown3132 very uncomfortable 😂 everything feels cheap my butt hurts and my back I think because of the seats they just not comfortable at least for me, but I really like how its very roomy 👍
@@chez8239 oh dam! Thats 4 weeks straight? Then 4 days off? Or are your 4 days mixed into your 4 weeks out? What type of driving would have you home at least on weekends if your not driving local?
@@dtox1985able nope 4 weeks straight out and 4 days straight home, well I thought dedicated I would be home weekends but seems like its not the case, they can’t guarantee me to be home on my 34 reset
@@dtox1985able it really is rough, definitely think it through before you commit to trucking because the harder part of the job is bring away from home, job itself is super easy, thanks for the support !
@@chez8239 that sucks. The company I drive for pays us a layover anytime we sit for 24 hours. Which isn't often. Empty or loaded. Unless the driver requests to do a reset.
Well you just proved it, you got distracted a lot when you are on the phone on your hands you missed the lanes and make changes a last minute, it’s on your own videos
@@chez8239 hope you doing great and leaning a lot !!! I know it’s a difficult times to be concentrating on everything around you but take a consideration the size and the weight of what are you driving 👍
Yep, great advice, you need to start getting PAID for the vids man! I know plenty of truckers on youtube make more from VIDS then they do from trucking haha.
That your age and getting a call is cause its safety and settle getting upset just agree and keep going and you will get smooth un curves where your not setting off the machine but what I see your hard on brakes and drive like a rookie....lol just breath and drive
