I decided to tackle the sifter linkage next as what I had was just not acceptable. All 3 main components had been welded and parts were missing. I managed to source a replacement which I then rebuilt with new bushings, o-rings and washers. I then tackled the oil leaking gearbox. Cleaned years of grime and dirt to have good working area when replacing the selector rod seal and the output flange seal. Both seals got replaced and the flange splines and nut got some sealer to prevent any oil leaks in the future. I hope you enjoy this one :) we are one more step closer to driving this thing.
