If you decide to do it again… try to twist the rollers all the way out of your hair instead of pulling at them and then twisting. When you pull it can ruin the curl and just hurt and get tangled.

I think the problem is that the sticky bits stuck to the nearby hair in other rolls. Might work better if you have each roll it’s own mini bonnet or something
It's so pretty. I suggest using a different smoother type of rollers. I think they are called " Magnetic Rollers". You put them in while your hair is damp and you blow dry ( or really any way you want to dry it.) But you're slaying the hair game Ashley!
the rollers are pulling from both sides. Find the accidental uptake and pull that out slowly first the rest comes out easy. If rolling curler down pull the loose stuff from underneath!

Back in the old days they use setting lotion and old school type rollers instead of those velcro style. I think rag curlers or socks might be better for ur long hair.
You really never know who you're dealing with but also take a guy that seems disinterested as a sign to not mess with that. I hope you don't deal with that kind of situation anymore. it hurts because you pulled, you should roll instead and the curls will be perfect, also while putting them put all the hair in one movement otherwise it wont work
Seriously that is NOT how you take those out!!! Be gentle! Make sure hair is super smooth being rolled up and don’t over load the roller with too much hair. Watching you do this makes me hurt!!
