If this was RPDR then I would be lenient for the bigger girls, but when this is an event and you have time to prepare for it then she could have pulled out something better looking. It's not easy being a bigger girl and it's a lot easier to find or make clothes when you're thinner, but even if you're bigger you have to learn to make the clothes work for you.

It was pretty tacky. The suit was pretty but the styling was bizarre. I think if she just left the tassels off and did it bare chested, that would have been better.

Drag is not just about classic elegance though. That's like what Gia thought in season 6. Even Rupaul just says that its just a mockery of gender, which is very open. April was androgyny personified.

how was it drag? which part of it was the drag element, did both look amazing yes, did they both create a look that was out of the norm but drag was fundamentally female illusion, twisting the gender line but thats not what they did, the look Milk rocked was great but it was just a high fashion look it wasn't her drag character at all whereas Aprils would have been great had she been going as a drag king. and tassels were cheap. the look was off by an inch.

Raven's outfit was an homage to Smalls who wore her outfit for the black and white challenge, April had nothing but a wig a face of make up and a septum to big for her lovely face. Her outfit was high fashion but it wasn't drag its not for that stage, if drag is an exaggeration then clearly April's look underwhelming, the face was beat to perfection but the look was basic high fashion not really drag

because the look was tailored for her, Raven's looks are more costume in general but they bring that drag element whereas Aprils lacked it, it was edgy high fashion and gender queer but it wasn't really the tone of the night. I live for april but i find her looks sometimes in need of editing or of missing the mark by an inch

I normally drool over April's looks. This was not complete. That hair needed volume to contrast that suit and the tassels were a bit tacky. April can do way better. Raven's look is fun. It wasn't meant to be fashion forward.
