Here are the last clips of my 370z with open long tube headers. I miss this car so much :'( Throwdowns were made from AAM short tails cut shorter using a dremel.
I have a question I’ve ran my G35HR with open headers with the short stock headers no cats for around 18min to get to the exhaust shop u think it’s bad or I’m I good???
I ran open headers on my first 370z for 7 months without any issues (not even a CEL). But I did have to make throwdowns so the hot exhaust wouldn't burn my undercarriage (because it did lol). However, if you wanna make power then you want a full true-dual exhaust (no 2-1-2 or 2-1 sections) and a good set of long tube headers such as PPE Engineering or ISR for budget headers. I made about 20 more whp and a lot more torque with a full exhaust on the dyno.
@@Lofi.z34 was you using the short tube headers with no test Pipes just headers or the long tubes headers??? I Might just get some ISR long tubes and do the same set up as yo z it sounds mean🔥
@@Lofi.z34 that’s crazy that u did burned yo undercarriage lol fuck it😂😂 some people say if cold air gets inside your headers when u turn yo engine off it’ll warp your valves that’s what got me a lil worried but now that u telling me that I feel safe now
@@babychoppa762 Like I said you just need throwdowns to angle the exhaust down. After I did that I ran open headers for 7 months with no issues, but your car will make less power vs having a full dual exhaust.
Update - Fast intentions are actually the worst long tubes you can get. ISR's are a decent cheap option, PPE's are the best and are equal-length but I spent $2400 on my new PPE's
