The world is in chaos due to Corona virus pandemic. Indians have been in a lock down since March 24, 2020. Like all others, artists are at home and surely miss the energy that we receive during the performances and the appreciation from connoisseurs.
It has been over two decades that I have been performing on different stages in India and abroad. Over the years I have been fortunate to meet many a legend like Guruji Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia ji. On and off stage, the experience has been hugely rewarding and the learning has been immense for which I am grateful. This has definitely shaped me as an artist and as a person.
To stay connected to you and to bring cheer amid the gloom, I thought of this idea where I could have an informal chat with artists on Sunday mornings through which music lovers will know more about the real person behind the artist. The artists’ thought process, his trials and tribulations and what he or she has overcome to bring delightful or sometimes sublime performances to you. It is an effort to bring the artist and connoisseurs closer and create a real connect.
