FACTS!!! Floyd took over with the high guard, shoot the right, Zab retreated to reset and was hit on his exit with Floyd's left. Masterpiece of a move by Floyd.
Floyd was about to stop Zab in that fight that why Judah hit him with the low blow so he could catch his 2nd wind...and Zab you could've been DQ for a attentional low blow thats why Roger and Leonard got in the ring
Zab acting like we didn’t see the fight or that the tape of the fight doesn’t exist. He was losing the fight when he decided to intentionally punch Mayweather in the nuts and followed that up by punching him in the back of the head. Dirty a$$ moves from a dude who was tired and getting beat up.
I know. I got into a huge argument with my homeboy about this. He kept talking about his zab was beating him up and how Floyd face was messed up also kept talking I don't know boxing. We watched the fight together and you could clearly seeing zab get the breaks beat off him. And nothing was wrong with his face at all. Copybox numbers and everything. This fool said agree to disagree. I didn't talk to that mf for 4 months. Lol
Floyd got paid 5m for that fight. Zab got 1m. I remember Larry Merchant saying it on the night of the fight. Zab came off a loss to Carlos Baldomir so his guarantee went down. Also, Zab didn't win the first 6. He won 3 out of the first 4 rounds. From the 5th round it was over. Floyd took over the fight and dominated him.
Agreed, I hadn't heard anyone in all these years say Zab won the 1st 6 rds. I've always scored it 8 rds to 4 at best for Floyd. If you watch the fight I still believe Zab did the low blow intentionally and was about to cough it up and get stopped.
@@betterthanyaaverage...1036 At the point if the low blow, Zab was being beaten up and dominated. What he did was out of desperation because Floyd was doing such a masterful job on him, I believe Zab was on the way to being stopped. That low blow was definitely deliberately done.
You are spot on G. Zab acts like we didn't watch the fight. Zab got frustrated cuz Floyd has his nose leaking by like the 7th or 8th round and was getting regulated.
Yea Zab the only person I ever heard in all these years saying he won first 6 rds lmao 🤣 be a man Zab and just admit he was the better fighter that night it takes nothing away from you but saying you won 6 rounds is basically saying the fight was a draw and it wasn't even close to a draw smh Mayweather won that fight no debate at all!
Imma watch it and hear ya’lls point but dude stop. Just stop. Floyd ain’t never even been remotely close to losing a fight. In 20 years dude had to take a knee ONCE and NEVER been knocked down not even close to being shook let alone knocked out. Fighting EVERY top guy In the industry too. Do you guys really understand how incredible that really is?
I’m the biggest Floyd fan but to say he wasn’t close to losing a fight is delusional. The 1st fight with Castillo is actually debatable. That’s the only fight i can say you gotta watch over and over. And the 1st Maidana fight was a 115-113 very close decision for Floyd. He’s had tough fights. Still my goat but he had his struggles. And Mosley shook him twice in the 2nd round. Floyd himself said that was the hardest he’s been hit. Zab technically knocked him down cuz Floyd’s glove got the canvas but the ref ain’t see it. Again still, he’s my guy but it’s all for everyone to see and judge for themselves
@@haroldgonzalez2681 I hear ya and it was for sure a TECHNICAL knock down Which is though great in the scoring card in actual fighting mode its way different than actually being pummeled and or being rocked Mayweather recovered and was back to his normal self almost immediately. I will say Maidona was his toughest fight but I would strongly suggest you watch the actual fight again. People hype it up as this thing that was happening during the EXCITEMENT OF THE FIGHT. But when you go back and watch it, ACTUALLY watch it, You can clearly see that it wasn’t as savage or close as what people think. In fact everybody talked so much shit that when floyd gave him a rematch to shut everyone up he totally out classed him. I suggest watching the fights over again especially in slow mo mode and see that a lot of it was just the excitement of the moment. I’m not trying to take anything away from these fighters, I’m just trying to make sure we don’t take away from floyd either. And in no point in any those fights was there an actual danger of him losing. Sugar Shane came close to maybe doing something. But what happened after the 2nd round? Nothing People act like if anybody actually lands a hit they were close to a defeating him or even a tie. Which is a testament of his greatness It’s boxing people get hit.
@@thesicksquad of course for the most part i Agee with you. But you said he’s never been shook or knocked down which is false and you clearly detailed how it happened. No boxer is perfect and they have their flaws no matter how great they are. That’s all i was trying to say. Floyd won both Maidana fights yes. But the 1st one was a struggle in which it wasn’t as clean and pretty as most Floyd fights are. And the 1st Castillo fight you didn’t even counter, which i suggest everyone to watch. The rematch Floyd killed him. But that 1st match, it’s a toss up man
Actually he was winning at that point. Floyd was starting to catchup. Zab ran outta gas and let floyd frustrate him. Thats y he lost. Footage is clear as day
He tried to ruin the fight… by RISKING HIS POINTS being away while he was leading???… make it make sense…. It should’ve been a disqualification once Roger (rip) jumped in the ring to attack Zab while the fight was still going on.
After the low blow Floyd recovered and beat the brakes off Zab the rest of the fight. Damn near could’ve stopped Zab it was starting to get ugly. Constantly beating him to the punch
this podcast has become a place where people come to rewrite history with little to no pushback. First it was Joe Budden and Royce. Ja rule and Benzino recently. and now Zab Judah. Who's next? Scottie Pippen? i guess this is why there is the new "views and opinions" disclaimer.
So what? People can straighten out any broken history in the comments.. Thats what these reply buttons are for.. lol.. Maybe these dudes didn't create a podcast to grill the guest who choose to grace there presence.. about every little intricate detail of history.. Not the best way to get people to come on your show when your up & coming..
@@Mobbin4theArt That's true & history is also often subjective.. Multiple people will see it many different ways.. I didn't see Ja Rule do alot of lying.. But if your an Eminem & 50 Stan all he did was lie.. 😅 Haven't checked out the Benzino, maybe I'll get around to it..
@@Mobbin4theArtthat’s literally the job of the media. To provide audiences with information they need and want to know. You can interview a guest and push back or ask tough questions without disrespecting them or making them feel like they’ll never want to come back to your platform
Zab is in his element..nothing but support from his NY brethren so he gonna 🧢..he feeling himself ….he knows in his heart he wasn’t on Floyd level ..Zab is not a realist
All these years later and Zab still isn’t honest about what he did and that’s a damn shame. His father whispered in his ear in the 9th round and told Zab to do it. We have to be men and admit our wrongs, Floyd figured him out and he got flustered and hit him low. I still love you Zab. This was just a character issue.
And if anybody remembers Zab judah's father was whispering something in his ear so the microphones couldn't pick it up then the low blow came after that.💯💯💯💯
Not too long before Floyd and Zab fought, Floyd said in a interview that he beat Zab in sparring, that`s what made them fall out and stop being friends.
If zab didn’t catch Floyd with that low blow I think zab would’ve been put down in those last 2rds. Dude was literally gassed you could see it. That break and bs brawl gave him a little time to recover. Floyd was tryna end that fight before the 12th
Zab my guy but he Cappin, big 🧢,it was a low blow, and an intentional shot to back of Floyd's head.Yes Judah was fatigued, he was also very frustrated that his biggest shots couldn't hurt Floyd and that he kept coming. That was the game plan to breakdown Super Judah mentally
1. Floyd did get knocked down. The ref didn’t see it and that’s the only reason why it wasn’t counted. But the replays clearly showed a knockdown. So Zab is the only person who’s knocked Floyd down officially. The other time Floyd went down was after breaking his hand. 2. Zab was fatigued but also frustrated and looking for a way out. He not only gave mayweather a low blow but he hit him in the back of his had too. And that wasn’t the first low blow Zab did during that fight. Zab thinks he’s slick 😂 3. Zab didn’t win 6 rounds against Floyd in this universe. 4 at most. After round 4 Floyd dominated and took control. Zab is a special fighter. He was like the Roy Jones of the little guys. The problem was he’d gas out early. Mayweather knew that and capitalized on Zab’a eagerness to knockout Floyd.
Great analysis of the fight. 1 thing tho, if the knockdown count and he gets the 10-8 round, doesn’t that give Zab 5-6 round advantage with the extra point if u got him winning the 1st four rounds? Technically he might be right on what he said 💯
Zab great fighter; sometimes his lack of discipline made him inconsistent and lose momentum in fights. The mayweather fight, the Cotto fight and Kostya Tszyu always come to my mind
What Zab said is true. First it should have been called a knockdown. If the gloves touch the canvas It's considered a knockdown. It's the rules. Second If the corner mounts the ring or get in the ring it is an automatic disqualification.
This dude has matured alot to the point you wouldnt even believe his old antics. He is one of the most gifted but notoriuosly undisciplined boxer of his day. I believe if he wouldve got from underneath his dad he wouldve had more sucess. However he is still a hall of famer and ducked no one. This guy fought champion after champion. Salute the Brooklyn King
Zab was overwhelming Floyd for the first 3, maybe 4 rounds with his athleticism, but Floyd settled in and got his timing and started absolutely dominating him around 5. Zab shot the low blow and punch to the back of the head out of frustration and desperation
@@ricardomartinez7862 you're in every comment saying the same made up lie. Not one score card had Zab winning. The momentum of the fight changed in the 4th round. Zab got dirty in the 10th what are you talking about
Man much ❤ too zab. Fuck what people taking about far as the wins and losses. I felt when he said “I already felt the bottom” especially being from Detroit early on in my life shit was hard and as a child you don’t realize until your older.
Zab iz nota boxer butta brawler, he tried 2 play Mayweather game instead of juss brawling him like Mike Tyson Brooklyn,NY🇺🇸 niggaz do in da streetz but defense at same tyme and Zab would have knocked-out Mayweather easily in 3rd or 4th round.
If I remember correctly you was hitting Floyd in the back of the head and that's why Rodger got in the ring because he didn't like his nephew being hit like that and the Black Mamba the original felt you was fighting dirty we can watch the tape to tape is clear. Zab my man's but was getting beat up so Zab did a dirty move Rodger Mayweather went on to get suspended possibly for year-and-a-half maybe two I remember that fight clearly.
I’ve boxed all my life I respect anyone who’s been in the ring. I love Zab but he lost that fight at least 8-4. He most definitely landed a shot and Floyd glove touched but I’m not sure if it were a knock down because if Floyd was on balance it wouldn’t have touched.
If a glove touches the canvas, unbalanced or not, it’s a knockdown. The referee didn’t see it and that’s the only reason why it wasn’t counted. Other than that I agree with you.
Floyd actually ran into the punch trying to deliver a jab to the abdomen of Judah...That's what threw Floyd's balance off. Non the less after round 3 Floyd took over with the high guard, shoot the right, Zab retreated to reset and was hit on his exit with Floyd's left. Masterpiece of move by Floyd.
Zab you got your butt whipped like Quick did by Vera in Harlem Nights. Cut it out man. You low blowed the man because you couldn't win. You were on your way to sleep sir. ESPN Dan Rafael has you down for winning 4 rounds. Where did the other 2 come from? How SWAY???? Your math ain't mathing sir.
@@15CRWN I doubt very much that happened. And wait a minute that was unanimous decision when Floyd won smh. Only rd after the forth I gave zab was maybe the last rd when Floyd was done with the fight after the low blow. And without that low blow judah was bout to go night night because he was getting beat bloody. I’m far from a casual, I use to watch the Friday night fights on espn.
I Like Zab but i think Zab hit Floyd low on purpose cause Floyd rocked him and about to KO him. And Floyd`s trainer came in the ring after the ref called for a break in the timing. So it was legal for Trainer to come in the ring. If the ref have not called for a timeout on the fight, then Roger coming in the ring would have been a foul and then you could disqualify Floyd.
REST Diego, the boxing community misses you bro. I was going for Zab when he fought Floyd. When Floyd started whooping on Zab, Zab started acting stupid. Immediately i switched sides to Floyd.
Yea.. he jump the ropes after you nutt check him over & over & over.. (pause).. Floyd 6 rounds were more dominant than his 6 .. 👉🏽but I really thing Floyd was ahead in more than 6rds
