Great video. Can you please tell me how you removed the headliner carcass? Did you just pull down firmly from the hole in front middle? Like is it held in with any bolts or anything?
Sure thing. It’s not held down with any bolts, but lots of clips. Lift the hard top into a position where it’s just open, and there are 2 black hooks that need to separate from the hard top roof ( at the back) to be able - once all clips detached - detached for the roof liner to come off. On the left and right of the roof liner loosen the rubber seal from the head line ( headliner should be sitting proud of the rubber seal) , then work your way around with trim clip removal tool between top and headliner. If you see the tool causing an imprint on the headliner then reposition
I got a fright today I opened the roof which I normally don't bother very much and when closing I got this message, I was terrified i wouldn't get it closed, lucky I just got out and gave the boot which was upright a shake and then it closed. I won't chance opening again.
I have a problem with the left driver's side window. sometimes when I hold the lock while the door is closed it won't open the window for me to open the door regularly, and also when I get in the car to close the door it won't roll the window back up. Would you know what the problem is with this model? Thanks in advance
I've found a diamond in the rough. I've got exactly the same system messages and the same non working issues and thanks to your video i've shown my wife exactly how she can help me fix the problem tomorrow morning. This exact same issue was highlighted in another video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zkPYEBn5YBM.html so i'm going to put a cable tie on after relocating the ball to make sure it doesn't happen again.
