The "1" thing a record label CAN'T do is trick you into signing a contract with them = that's literally impossible, since contracts don't work that way + you have to have a lawyer look over the contract before you sign it, which can take a really long-time = being CLUELESS is the real way to get "scammed" in the music industry = NO ONE can force you to do what you don't want to do
