In this video I hike the Ptarmigan Cirque hike, located in Kananaskis! The hike is a popular one, but when my friend Jesse and I did it we chose to go later in the day, and barely saw anyone else. In total the hike is 4.5km long with a couple hundred meters of elevation gain. This trail is also a good one for larch trees. The larch trees lose their pine needles with the cold weather, and they turn a beautiful yellow/orange color before doing so. Some of them had already turned yellow when we were there. There is also a bigger waterfall on this trail, which is further up the valley on a generally easy to follow trail!
