I don't usually comment on tutorial videos but you guys deserve more than a "thank you" message. The sudden need for a PTE test because of an Australian visa application was annoying for me, but watching your instructions several times for only 1 week helped me a ton. Although I already took a TOEFL test last year and got 102/120, I got nervous nevertheless. But today I got an overall score of 80 (L 76, R 83, S 79, W 76). So I hope your videos continue to help thousands of people like me and hope your business will continue to thrive timelessly!

For the 'Re-ordering paragraph' section, shouldn't the last line be 'But by a year or two later,...'? The last line is still discussing about how unhappy they are even when they're driving a new car which relates to the second paragraph instead of the third one.

Hello! In the PTE you can only move forward; you can't move backward. Please see our blog post on managing time in the PTE: blog.e2language.com/pte-time-management/ If you haven't done so already, we recommend you try our Mini Mock Test to see how you go with the PTE timing. This is a shorter version of the real test that LOOKS the same, is TIMED in the same way, and SCORED in the same way. In addition to providing you EXAM SIMULATION, it will also provide you with a snapshot of your results with detailed feedback on each task/sub-test performance. The Re-order Paragraphs seems incorrect. The last 2 paragraphs should interchange. The first 3 paragraphs are stating about how unhappy they are and the conclusion is they were back to normal after a year or two. Am I right?

I don't like the multiple choice problem. The 4th response is "people not getting enough energy". This could be interpreted as people not getting enough physical energy, which the article actually does say by saying that they aren't getting enough sleep. Not enough sleep = not getting enough energy. I've been speaking english my entire life and would have gotten that wrong. Kinda lame. But maybe you're not supposed to make any inferences. Even though they said that humans aren't getting enough sleep, you're not supposed to infer that they aren't getting enough energy. It's very specific I guess.

Hi, this video is very helpful! However, when I check the format of PTE Academic on the PTE website, it also mentions more questions types like - "Re-tell Lecture", "Summarize Written Text", "Essay" in the "Speaking & Writing" section. And some others in "Listening" section which you haven't covered in the video. Please confirm, if those questions are not expected?

I'm sorry, we do not offer the transcripts for the Listening tasks. This is a decision from our content and teachers, as it's understood it lessens the efforts to comprehend the tasks. If you are a beginner and/or if you feel the need to also read the words as you listen, I recommend that you find a speech-to-text widget that suits your browser. Let us know if there's anything else we can assist you with.

PTE is typically more difficult in speaking and IELTS is more difficult in writing, but we can help you prepare for either test! If you do not need the exam for academic purposes, we recommend sticking with IELTS General as most students find the content easier.
