Correction: you can’t file bs. A lawyer who brings forth a “frivolous” lawsuit, risks being sanctioned and they actually have to pay it, not the client. I wouldn’t take a case if there were zero evidence that my client could provide. Also, these attorneys normally front the case expenses. I can’t imagine a world where a firm would waste time, resources, and risk sanctions for bs. If a civil lawsuit has been filed, there was enough there where the attorneys felt that they stood a decent chance at recovery. Akademics has this opinion because he’s currently being sued and is clearly bitter about it.
I read a case in college, about a male who was given drugs by a female at a party. He blacked out, and woke up to her grinding on top of him. It wasn’t a good thing.
