looks quiet and good ....not much crowded. Thanks for the video. I will be there in next month. Have 1 question though, can we hire a bicycle (not a motor bike) to explore siem reap what will be the price per day. Can we explore pub street on bicycle?
Yes, some places rent bicycle for $5 per day. But you can negotiate prices for cheaper. If you want bicycle for 1 week or more you can ask for a discount. You can ride bicycle in Pub St in the daytime. But I'm not sure about night-time. You can also ask for a discount for accommodation too. My advice is book accommodation for 1 or 2 days and if you want to stay longer ask for a discount.
@@guitarsingaporeRapture Yes, it's still quiet here and the locals are struggling for customers. I do my best to support them. They work very hard. Enjoy Siem Reap when you get here. It is even more beautiful with all the upgrades to the city.
It's not busy because of the new $40 visa on arrival fee and doubling of transport costs. Same in Laos where i was last month and where they decided to double the cost of food in places like Pakse. $10 to hire a motorbike there. Strong dollar as well.
It's always been $30 visa on arrival for Tourist Visa and $35 for the E business Visa. Can you send me the link to where it's become $40? It's also $10 to rent a motorbike here as well per day. However, if you want the bike for a month you can negotiate for $70 or $80 per month. If they want to charge more than $100 per month I wouldn't pay it. In Vietnam and Thailand you can rent scooters for under $100. However, I don't rent bikes as I don't feel comfortable leaving my passport with strangers for a month. My passport is the most valuable possession I have.
Hello Patrick, yes it's quiet here compared to pre-pandemic. The good news is the city has better roads and is more beautiful with all the infrastructure upgrades the government has made in the last 2 years.
Thank you for the link. Sok San Rd looks quiet, maybe because of the time of day. Can you still buy beer for 3,00r, and rent a guesthouse room for less than $10?
@@georgedonnellan36 Hello George you can buy 2000 riel beers at "Khmer Taste" restaurant at the end of SSR near pub st. Also I found many places that also had 3000 riel beers all over town. I'm not sure specifically if you can rent a guesthouse room on SSR for less than $10 but you can definitely rent rooms for less than $10 in other parts of the city. I stayed at a guesthouse where rooms were $8 per night. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mNTkdZOgH1E.html And also this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wAZFyd6JVcU.html
