ill never forget the golden days of pubg. It was still so barebones- no emoting, no loot boxes to pay for. It really felt like you were surviving with your boys. Ill probably never get back into pubg, as I dont like sweating so much anymore playing video games, but I will never ever forget the wonderful times I had playing PUBG back in the day...

Dev 1: We have a mossy half underwater town with dense loot close together, many barrels and fallen trees creating bridges and lots of opportunities to use the climbing feature to essentially parkour from building to building. We should make the town bigger and add some underwater sections maybe we can put the respawn beacon on one of the tall buildings or even the tower overlooking the entire town! Dev 2: Nah lets delete the entire area and make a couple broken cranes, boats and a big bridge so we scatter loot on the floor to pick up like crumbs we can also put the respawn beacon there too. Dev 1: That would remove more than half the loot from the original location and make the area large, flat and exposed to snipers from Rozhok and Ruins... Dev 2: idc just put a couple storehouses outside with a handful of houses.

As a new player, who played PUBG mobile a few years ago(which had some nostalgic elements like the lobby music and the pose of the PUBG guy) before playing the console version, this is just beautiful. Finally I get a look at what PUBG was like back then, even if I didn't know that the map even changed.
