I feel your pain about those art history classes. I do NOT miss those (and my school required SO MANY art history classes! Regular art history, AND art history for your specific art major. And they were all windowless, hot, and monotone :P I don't know how anyone passed, including myself)

I can relate. Same thing happened to me in collage. I went to the bathroom stall of the older part of the gym to change for my kick boxing class. The stall door got jammed and me having social anxiety was mortified if someone saw me stuck inside or worse one of the guys in my class would have to pry the door open. I got desperate and used the clothes I just changed out of to cover the floor to crawl out from under. I got out and picked up my now nasty clothes just seconds before a group of girls could walk in.

4:45 when you’ve been holding it in all day and finally get home

The part where she talked about her favorite food place (which is my favorite) and talked about her favorite broccoli cheddar soup. I was happier than Matthieu Ricard for a moment there.

One time down in ocean city, I got stuck in a public restroom...I couldnt get out for almost an hour. They had one of those fancy stalls that go all the way down to the ground, so I couldnt crawl out from under it. I had to wait till my dad came looking for me and help me out

I have a similar story but it was when I was like 5 or 6 and I went to the bathroom by myself for once, that time just so happened to be when someone decided to lock it from the outside and I start yelling for someone to help while balling my eyes out, and finally some Saint decides to yell back and remember the exact words to this day, she got my mom and I eventually got out

One day me and my friends were in my friend's house. I went to the bathroom and one of my friends started opening the door. I was angry and closed the door. Then I couldn't open it. I told it to all of my friends and they were thinking about the problem. 30 mins later we finally opened it. My friend came into the bathroom and was like "hah, let me show you how to open this door". She closed it and tried to open. And she failed. I was like /facepalm/ but after 10 minutes we found a wrench and opened it. Some weeks later we were hanging out again in her house. She said: Ok, my dad repaired the door. Let me show you. She took me to the bathroom and closed it. Then tried to open and... Failed again. But there wasn't wrench that time. life does not teach us

Something similar happened to me recently. I was at a train station and went to use the bathroom. After I did my business, I tried to open it, and...I was stuck. I didn't really wanna say anything to the other people who were going in and out of the bathroom cause that would be really awkward, so I just kinda quietly wrestled with the door. Eventually my mom came to check on me since I had been in there for like 10 minutes now. I told her what was happening. She tried to open the door, but to no avail. This person in the stall nearby overheard and tried to help as well. They stood on top of the toilet in their stall and attempted to open my stall door. It was no use. Turns out they were actually working at the train station, and called some other people who worked there to help. Eventually they got me out after like 20 minutes. I thanked them profusely and quickly walked out, hoping to never see any of them again because it was too embarrassing. :')

As someone who waits until they get home to use the restroom I’m sorry you had to go through that.

I stopped using the washroom in elementary school because of some dumb kids. Every single damn time I would go use the washroom in grade 2, a small group of annoying kids would run inside just to turn off the lights and chant “bloody marry” 3 times while I was sitting on the toilet. This happened so frequently with me and multiple other kids to the point the school decided to get rid of the light switch and replace it with a movement censored light. I thought I was finally able to use the washroom in peace, but the first time I used the washroom after they changed the lights, they turned off on me, and because of that, I forced myself to wait until I was home before using the washroom because I was convinced Bloody Marry was really out to kill me.

I got stuck on my schools bathroom because someone locked me in. Whoever designed it totally blew it because those stalls could be locked FROM THE INSIDE AND THE OUTSIDE, I had no way of getting out, some time later one of my classmates got me out.

I FEEL you, you know why? Cause I ALSO got stuck in a bathroom for an indefinite amount of time! (If I can one day become a yt animator like you, you bet the world will hear this story!) So in the 1st grade, I was in an afterschool cheerleading "club" (Afterschool, starting out good), the school as many was divided for preschool and the other grades aftet that, the preschool area had a floor full of foam carpet, because of this, we would practice in the preschool area, of which had bathrooms with lock on the inside as well as the OUTSIDE. Now let me leave clear the fact that the professor would sometimes not come to the cheerleading practice without informing anyone, which meant the other cheerleaders and me would wait for him to show up and then we would go home when our parents or whatever came, and this unfortunately for me it was one of those occasions. So I went to the bathroom to change to see that 2 out of the 3 bathrooms were occupied and the only one that wasn't was full of toilet paper, on floor, on the walls, and if I remember correctly I saw a toilet paper come into the stool from the other one at the side of mine, now I was REALLY shy now I'm more antisocial, so I went up to 2 boys younger than me that were playing soccer nearby and asked them for help with this person throwing toilet paper at me and they agreed so they grabbed the toilet paper that was thrown and started throwing it to the person beside, and clearly remember hearing a girl like "hey!". I thanked the 2 boys and went into the toilet were I changed when I was almost done I heard the stool next to mine open, the girl had left, I didn't think much of it and finished changing, but when I was done and tried to come out the door didn't open, so I thought "Okay maybe I didn't actually unlock the door" and tried again but nothing so then I thought "Well okay, maybe It was unlocked and my brain just tried to open it incorrectly....?" But still nothing happened, and NOW 7 YEAR OLD ME IS PANICKING! There wasn't enough space to crawl out or even to put more than a hand out, and I already knew parkour wasn't an option, even 7 yr old me knew her limits, so I did the next best thing, I climbed on top of the toilet, put myself in my tiptoes and tried my best to look outside, there was this "wall" right in front of the bathrooms, and the only thing I could see to the sides was this girl of whom I still remember the overall "design" of walking away, I tried calling her or anyone else BUT SHE JUST KEPT WALKING AWAY AND NO ONE ELSE HEARD ME! I OF COURSE started crying my eyes out! I have got NO IDEA of how much time had passed (it was almost time to go home) but at some point some high school boy was playing soccer nearby the bathrooms AND HE HEARD ME CRYING! He came up to my toilet along with the rest of the cheerleaders and unlocked the door from the OUTSIDE, THAT'S WHY I COULDN'T GET OUT!!!! The rest of the cheerleaders started calming me down and asking me what happened and you what's funny? THERE WAS NO GIRL WITH THE DESCRIPTION OF CLOTHING AND OTHER STUFF THAT I GAVE! Since practice was almost over the principal was leaving and we told her/him about it and then I went home. And I never heard what happened with the girl or anything again because the next year a bit before the start of the school year the school closed sooo yeah. After that incident I started going the long way to the Elementary and High schoolers bathroom with a lock ONLY on the inside but yeah, after that I only got locked twice in a classroom in the 3rd grade cause there was an event that happened for like the entire week and since after the event we would go home we were asked to pack our bags before going, my teacher somehow missed me finishing packing, in both of the times the janitors let me out, after that they became my heros but yeah so yeah, I can relate! 😅😅😅😅

This actually happened to me once. I managed to crawl my way out, surprisingly the floor was relatively clean since no one used that bathroom. I made it out just in time for assembly

I hate when the door at a public bathroom has problems

I once got stuck on a toilet. I was at this office where they were gonna check in on me about my mild autism problem. I had just gone to the bathroom and I feel for toilet paper and realize there wasn't any. I started freaking out. I was the only one in there and I knew my mom was going to think I was hiding. About 15-20 minutes later she comes in and says that I have to stop hiding. I tell her I'm not hiding, but in fact, the last 15-20 minutes I have had no toilet paper and no one came into the bathroom. The worst situation I've gotten into so far

Never been stuck but there was an accident in school. The theater boys accidentally locked themselves in the boys theater bathroom and couldn't get out for hours. One of the people part of the building team had to bring a big hammer to knock the door down to free those 8 boys.
