Very informative video, thank you. I am going to Dubai in March 2024 with a friend and nobody told me (other friends who's been to Dubai) about the bus pass and how the system works
Hello! Could you explain more about bus stops where you should go when you want to go back to your location. Why it is not across the street? How should we now which stop is for buses that go back direction
Works exactly the same as in the Netherlands and the rest of Europe. But here in the Netherlands is a bus in every streetcorner. Amazing that Dubai has the same working public transport in the most part of town. :) Also the airport is top on in Dubai!! I'm in a wheelchair and I love traveling via Dubai. :) Best airport, my opinion. And transport with a wheelchair is even in Europe not that great in the east side. Dubai is better accessible. (Almost like western Europe). For middle east, Dubai is the only place I travel solo without any stress. ^^ I will be back in October :D
@@TravelingSoloLogs No, I don't live in Dubai anymore but once I was there and spent some good time with friends in Dubai Albaraha So I had good memories there . Hopefully I would visit again when things will be normal in Dubai as you know the uncertainty of circumstances these days
Hello. Do you need to make a hand gesture to the bus driver to stop? In Greece if you dont do a hand gesture, will not stop. In Poland will stop. I will be traveling to Dubai in a week, and i want to know more about the transportation
As much as I can appreciate Dubai metro I think Dubai buses are quiet unforgiving in some places there are buses every half an hour. The buses are not usually on time however even if the driver sees the passenger within the bus stop waving hands at him to stop they won't stop probably due to regulation . Dubai is hot and the weather can be unforgiving when it comes to heat and not all bus stop has their AC working some doesn't even have shades with only bus every half an hour to many destination I strongly believe they can come up with a better solution. Which is bother humane and close to people's heart people those who are mostly using Public transport doesn't have ability to afford their own car. Probably this comment will never make a difference but anyways...
if I'm not being mistaken the front door is for ladies and children i think.same like set arrangement, because chairs in front is for ladies and children....
Traveling Solo Logs I see, guess it depends on the driver (some of them are less anxious then others)... they made the same rules even here in Canada, we only allowed to access the buses from back doors “temporarly” as safe mesures for the drivers ... cz they don’t want to put their lives on risk while doing their jobs
3:47 in Greek bus driver use middle door for easy access mostly bus driver are not bad just please use middle doors depending where you go. :) Greek and other countries are like that so yeah
That's interesting I didn't know they do that in Greece. I guess some places want the passengers to enter from the back. Usually in Dubai you can enter from the front.
