The lady with the baby is who we want working for us. She did her job. She listened and responded appropriately. She gave clear answers to questions and promised to have a discussion with her people, in front of them. A soft, open rebuke, which didn't crush their spirits. She is a good supervisor. @@hart60why? She is obviously doing her job. I've brought my child to work ( I work at a restaurant) he does things like wipe tables and stock straws. It impacts my ability to work 0% in fact it helps me work cause my employer understands life and work sometimes have to happen at the same time. In my experience, even the most grumpy of people will react differently when they see a kid. Except you, you're an exception. Why complain about something that didn't impact her professionalism or work? We sure are in a first world.

I can’t believe the difference in attitude and service between the women in that office and that man that was going into his office. You caught that guy outside totally off guard with his hands full and he was still polite and informative. He is a great example of public service.
It should be a crime to deny public access. You should be able to call the police and get someone arrested if they refuse you the JOB THEY SIGNED UP FOR.

It's more about women in the workforce than public service workers. Carson City is my hometown. I deal with this workforce regularly. Once in a while, you will stumble across a real gem, you never know what you'll get.

Sounds like primary charge. It initiates the issue. The ensuing disturbance would be an additional or secondary charge that supports the primary charge. Yes or no? Logical or illogical? Yeah thanks Jim I should have said additional charge. The first leaves room for mistakes. The second is like a false alarm, like a fire or accident or something that would bring a major response, but can also include lying on someone when you know the response would be a strong response that becomes a public inconvenience.

Most likely, she couldn't find a babysitter for her child that day. It happens but it most likely require supervisor's approval to bring your child for the day.

I’ve never had a good experience when dealing with public bureaucrats. They are the most unhelpful,couldn’t care less, nasty, mean people to have to deal with. We deserve better, considering we pay their salaries. 🤦♂️. Great reporting BAT. 🇺🇸👍

Maybe every interaction with public employees should be documented and used for their training. One thing for sure is the general public is sick of garbage treatment and this is their way of pushing back.
There should be an avalanche of telephone calls of complaints to these offices regarding all these exceedingly rude and delinquent Service Workers. Only APPALLING !
With so many videos of auditing, how are there still so many ignorant public employees. These videos should have started a training process across the United States years ago.
I’m always amazed how grown adults act like scared & rude 6 year olds. Bravo for the lady with the baby being professional & also the 2 other ladies. If I had acted like the rest of them at my job.. I’d be fired. I also think any government employees who shut down the offices should be immediately fired or at least not get paid for the hours they illegally close a public office for no reason except feelings. Another example of the huge problem caused by the go along to get along crowd. They have bowed to the self-appointed authority of these people to the point they just expect it. Its a blow to their ego anytime someone questions it or stands on their rights. They dont know or care about the law because they have never had to. People really need to wake up.
