My sister of Gen X like myself is missing the point. The excuse of 60 yrs of progressive 'improvement' since independence and 'exclusion' is an excuse. Change has taken way too long. Good will is completely lacking. Prioritization doesn't exist in government. It's all about getting in and getting rich as quickly as possible. West Africa is going the way it's going coz they waited for change, then woke up to the reality that it was never coming unless they themselves changed. No one needs to be reminded that they are intelligent etc. we all know. The difference is that each generation has a different way of effecting change. Unfortunately, time is up! Time was up for West Africa, we all knew it except the French 😂😂😂😂 Government must change overnight. The first sign that something was up, despite the obvious grumblings one government to the next, was that a good chunk of people did not vote. That alone was a turning point. We need to wake up yesterday! Today,nothing works. You don't get an ID the way your supposed to, for passports to work the mess in immigration has to be on TV, medicines in public hospitals don't exist, even NHIF/SHIF doesn't really work (btw national medical insurance cover ought to work for all and in all hospitals, both private and public. Here it doesn't work that way), fire fighting is a joke, one cannot get an ambulance on call without belonging to a class or paying up.....etc When Dr. McFee said we Kenyans are poor at living within own means, he meant it. The behaviour politicians is what you see with every Kenyans. Living way beyond means. That's common sense. Not over 60 yrs post independence!!! And please Gen Z are beyond knowing their rights. They are about execution/implementation. Move from talking to acting. Gen Z doesn't talk Forex, they do it and see if it works. They don't talk videography, they own social media! Wake the hell up!
