PUBLIC OPINION ON ISSUING OF ST/INDIGENOUS CERTIFICATE TO THE NON INHABITANT RESIDENTS OF THE STATE 

India in general and Nagaland in particular has a patrilineal society where the children take on the surname of the father. Children born to Naga women who are married to non locals should be stopped from taking their mothers surnames. These mofos will skew the entire community make up.

Even in NPSC sectors the government has to checked and verify properly. Non local father kids are also suceeding alot.

Not only to sons and daughters of non-naga father but I think this should apply even to adopted non-naga sons and daughters.Just my opinion.

Dear Naga Maiki khan, Nagas in General don't hv any issue wirh you marrying non Nagas, but once u r married to them your kids should inherit your husband's last name. Naga tribal HoHo and GB should do a very strick checking on diz issue, if not our Nagas heritage will be gone soon. Diz is a very very serious issue...wake up my Naga people, wake up.

Who are the fools giving ST/any tribal document to non nagas.moreover media shld ask competent authority regarding the issue coz most of our people dnt knw our own rite.

Since our civil bodies,students body etc are vry weak it's vry difficult n our state.take the example of meghalaya,Arunchal civil bodies thy take tough decision to defend their own people

Every indigenous certificate holders cannot be qualified for ST certificate. So many children of non-naga fathers are holding nagaland govt service. What about their children when their grandfather is non- naga? They may be qualified for indigenous cert if their non-naga grandfather has been residing in Nagaland before 1963, but they can never be qualifief for obtaining ST certificate. Colony GB and council members should not give NOC to such individuals.

During 1970,80 lot of naga gal married non naga n they were given citizenship in the past decade....by the village council... Once i heard the news in some village in nagaland, Village (Head GB) cook the cat meat and giving the cat meat to non naga, n dat very non local eat the cat meat, from there onwards he got naga itizenship . Every tribes/village have their own traditional customary law and practices, let their own tribal hohos take the matters on dis... We can't neglect them after granting them citizens... After cut mark of 1963 lot of naga women married outsiders... Just my views...

Most evil thing brought by our own naga women,who is not confident to used her own husband title to her kids.

I personally know some people with this kind of fake certificate employed in Edu department but the govt has done nothing against them.

Children from Naga girls married to Non-Nagas is/will never be Naga's blood. So those girls who marries non-local should feel ashamed to even opt for ST/Indigenous when she knows clearly that her child is not a Naga. This type of people is really diluting the Naga Society and taking up the rights of the Nagas of coming generations. The law enforcing authorities should seriously check on this serious matter.
