Was lucky enough to be there; it was an extraordinary, slightly unreal night. You could tell who'd been there on the late night tube going home afterwards - we were all smiling from ear to ear.

A spellbinding performance. Valentina is such a beautiful track.

TY for uploading this great video! I love PSB and their music reminds me so much of the first sensations we got when listening to the German band "Kraftwerk" and their "Computer World" as well the Roger Waters "Radio Waves" album in the 80s. Bot to mention Master Vangelis, of course. Wonderful!

The orchestra seem to have a fierce latency early on. I've been scratching my head wondering & I finally think I understand why. The orchestra play to the page. The band have zero latency since they're on a click-track. The latency (lag) comes from reading and instructing your body to play the notes. Reacting across space in a room creates more latency if you play by ear, especially in such a large and full room. It's unavoidable. You won't notice most of the time. It was just weird at first. Crazy, It just occurred to me that every single person in an orchestra has to adjust their timing by visual or perceived distance to make up the collective space.

I wonder is this all made fresh each time? Obviously the public service broadcasting element is recorded but I wonder is everything else live? Awesome stuff either way.
