Walt - Thanks so much for this tour. I am a long-time fan of The Kingston Trio who recorded there as well. Since my days as a fan I've become a friend and also have produced a few of their more recent releases. Looking back at the Capitol days and listening to the Trio's recordings, my fascination with the "Capitol sound" is never-ending. Thanks again for sharing your experience. - Rob Reider, Cincinnati
Great clip Walt, very interesting. I have walked past that building once on a trip to USA & L.A. back in 2009 & had a selfie in front of it, but this is the first time I have seen inside it. Thanks for uploading it.
I'd love to take a tour of Capitol, it's right in my back yard (I live in the Valley)! I was fortunate enough to take a tour of Abbey Road Studio 2 a few years ago, but I've never been here. Where does one look for those rare advertisements offering the tours? Thanks for your video, it's great!
The studio is very active 24 /7 with many artists who only want to record there. There was one day of tours this past year for a fee (donated to charity)
