It was so funny to perforation a ticket... lol, have never experienced this before.....thought it was a joke.......:-) there is also a app (yello taxi) ....
hi... interesting video, plan to travel to Sofia this year... please advise is taxime or yellow taxi via application allow to pick up us from airport to the center (st. sofia church). Is it possible to bring 2 luggages with us to travel from airport to near St.Sofia church with the bus?
Hello! Both applications work from the airport. Yes, you can bring luggage in the bus, but you may have to pay for an extra ticket depending on the size of the luggage.
How about ticket mashines in tramway? We have exactly same tramways in Warsaw and here you can buy a ticket without disturbing driver. Pesa makes a sign of a town contracted trams on the seats, would you show how it looks like in Sofia.
Hello there! Sometimes there is indeed a machine in the tram (like tram 7, I think) from which you can get a ticket without disturbing the driver. Keep in mind that these machines, as of October 2017, do not give back change as well as are not available on each vehicle. This is why we recommend you buy a ticket before entering the vehicle from a station or kiosk nearby. Can you please explain what you mean by the second sentence?
Hello there! The three options are: - bus: it takes about 2 hours, around 15 lv, (7-8 EUR); there are buses leaving from the main bus station like every hour; - a transfer company (not taxi - they will charge you a lot) - they will charge you about 100 - 150 lv (depending on different factors) so it is a good option if you have someone to share with; there are also Facebook groups for shared travelling but they are in BG language; If you are looking for a transfer company, you can message us on Facebook (Inter HECS - Study in Bulgaria) for recommendations; - train: the cheapest option, probably about 10 lv max. It takes about 2.30 hours, but check when the fastest train is here: razpisanie.bdz.bg/site/search.jsp ; Also, keep in mind the trains are old so it won't be the most comfortable journey ever :) Hope that was useful!
Hello! Yes, but only to Terminal 2. There is a free shuttle bus between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, but be careful about its schedule. If you are coming to the city centre (heading towards the airport), be careful as there are two lines going in the same direction for a while but then they split - one is for Business Park, the other one is to Terminal 2 (and a lot of people accidentally get on the one heading to the Business Park). Here you can see a map of the subway: www.metrosofia.com/images/sofia-metro-lines-2016-july.png PS: One-way ticket is 1.60 lv (around 0,80 EUR) and it includes metro transfer (so if you want to change between the metro lines). It does not include a transfer on another type of vehicle (e.g. bus) Have a safe journey!
If you are planning to move to Bulgaria, you can also watch our video about finding a flat in Bulgaria (things you should bear in mind): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Qkk-18qkUJM.html
Usually, most ladies in the office for "Central urban mobility" do not speak English. However, if you just want to buy one ticket, say "edno biletche, molya" (one ticket, please). Otherwise you can ask a young person (most young people speak English) for help :)
Hope you enjoy your stay in Sofia! If you are looking for a flat, I recommend you watch another useful video about things to know when you find an apartment in Bulgaria: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Qkk-18qkUJM.html
