Publish to the Power BI Service and Update a Published Report 

does it mean when publish, i have to upload the pbix to sharepoint rather than keep it on my local disk? i m facing the issue that everytime i update the pbix, the viewers's access to the report gets cancelled.

That's also the way I publish my reports. It's convenient and allows to use the "version history" functionnalty of SharePoint. I ran into some issues lately: the report do not update for some reason. Are you experiencing the same thing? Is it an issue with a recent update of the Power BI Service? Thanks!

What happens If I move the pbix file into a different folder in Sharepoint? It doesn't get updates anymore. Any suggestion to reestablish that link?
