Pucks is a magical place. Its only a couple of minutes from my caravan at Stratheck, so I have been there loads of times, I totally love it. The bottom section of Pucks is now open, when/if you go again, go when it has been raining for days & days, the sights & sounds of the countless waterfalls is immense. To length the walk, park at Benmore Gardens,( FREE ), cross the road and enjoy the woodland walk to the start of Pucks...the car park you started from is beyond the start
We loved what we saw of the place and were disappointed that we didn’t see the bottom section so a return is definitely on the cards. Might try the longer route next time, thank you!
Nice wee video Alistair. I only heard of this place a few years ago and still never been! Looks a lovely wee walk. It’s not too far from me as well as I’m North Ayrshire. Might plan a wee trip over the water on the western ferry. Glad the family enjoyed! 👍
Looking at the map route you put up Alistair you've essentially only done around 30% of the Glen. The bottom section that was closed and it didn't look as if you went beyond the logging road which is also marked as closed because of tree felling. Head back next year for the full experience.
