Annual summer trip to Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point), Mexico - All shots were recorded with a Mavic Air.
Puerto Peñasco, also known as Rocky Point, is a Mexican fishing city on the Gulf of California. It’s known for dune-backed Sandy Beach and Bahía la Choya’s tidal pools. The Center for the Study of Deserts and Oceans has gardens and a fin-whale skeleton. Northwest, El Pinacate y Gran Desierto de Altar Biosphere Reserve features volcanic and desert terrain.

Its funny you mention that, Clint. We actually had to speed up those clips because the runner was so slow. Thats my bad. Next time ill have Spencer run it - haha

Hi🤗 I'm planning a trip to puerto penasco next week (mon-wednesday) but not sure what we can do out there other than go to the back? Any suggestions. 😊 Were going with another couple and no kids.

Hi Leticia, I would definitely recommend a sunset cruise with Del Mar Charters (facebook.com/delmarcharters.mexico/). It's the highlight of our trip every time. Oscar is an awesome host. Make sure you sign up quick though, they fill up fast. Beyond that, its always fun just exploring around town and finding some new restaurants you like. Hope you enjoy your trip!

Its hit and miss, honestly. They tend to head south in the morning in the summer and will come back in the afternoon. If its high tide you can seem them pretty easily. They're usually moving slow enough that you can get a kayak out there and catch up with them. Honestly, you just need to keep an eye out for them during the day. They're almost always in a large pod

How is the drinking water there?

We buy bottled water from the stores in town. We've never had a problem with it

@@belle369 You can't drink tap water in any place of Mexico we always buy water to drink well you can drink it but it's not recommended and it's flavor is bad.
